  3. I loved just plain Water pre op, now 6 weeks out I can't do plain water, I have to add something or it just sits heavy on my stomach. I do 2 oz g2 to 18 oz water. I'm hoping to be able to switch back to water soon. I hate the aftertaste of most of these flavorings. Revision 1/31/13 by Dr Cabrera and Venezuela in MX

  10. I feel the same way, when I had lapband almost 2 years ago, the dr (in mexico) who did my preop exam noticed my thyroid was enlarged and I had huge nodules, I ended up having thyroid cancer. Even though the band was a failure it certainly saved my life,my nodules were pressing on my windpipe, my us doctor dismissed my concerns 2 months previous. Someone was watching out for you, I hope your well from here in our! Revision 1/31/13 by Dr Cabrera and Venezuela in MX
  11. I was a huge Water drinker before surgery, after it irritated my sleeve so I have to add g2 to it. I hope I can go back to it soon. I never liked the artificial flavors and g2 is the most tolerable to me but only rain berry. When I stock up at the store I get weird looks when I have 20 bottles in my cart, lol Revision 1/31/13 by Dr Cabrera and Venezuela in MX
  12. I've been in a 2 1/2 week stall, it's driving me crazy. I'm trying to be patient because I've read enough threads to know its common but that crazy voice in my head keeps saying "this isn't going to work like the band" I'm going to have my husband put the scale in his car so I can't weigh every morning! Revision 1/31/13 by Dr Cabrera and Venezuela in MX
  13. I paid $5,600 for a revision, for just the sleeve is $4,500, that included transportation from airport to Mexico, 3 nights in hotel and 2 nights in hospital. Revision 1/31/13 by Dr Cabrera and Venezuela in MX

  16. I was told the anything you can eat with out teeth qualifies as soft food, I know a man that can eat a Big Mac and fries and has no teeth, yay me!! So kidding, I am not eating a Big Mac just thought it was a funny observation. I do want texture, just a few more weeks Revision 1/31/13 by Dr Cabrera and Venezuela in MX
  17. I think we need to be careful that we aren't so secretive about the surgery, had a friend of mine not been open to me about it, I would not have known about it vsg. I am a band to sleeve revision so I'm not announcing to the world look what I did BUT if someone genuinely asks me and I think this is something that would help them I will share. I do understand the judgment of others, I have a brother that was so impressed with my 80lb weight loss with my band ( he didn't know I had lap band) as I'm getting ready to tell him he says " see, hard work gets you there, you don't need any weight loss surgery" I decided he didn't need to know. He's never had a weight problem so he has no clue. Being selective is good but being somewhat open is also good Revision 1/31/13 by Dr Cabrera and Venezuela in MX
