Wow I was off a week and I thought I came back to work too fast! Good for you! I'm glad you are feeling great. Just be careful no to over do it. I felt ok the first few days after I got back but then about 10 days post op I felt like I had run out of energy. Make sure to keep hydrated. Good luck on your journey! Congrats!
  4. Good luck on your journey! I too have had the "speeches" most of my adult life. I had a revision of the band to the sleeve and do not regret a second of it. I am feeling so good and know that in time I will be off all my meds. Hang in there may will be here before you know it. I'm happy for you!

Can you tolerate cream of wheat? That, poscicles and jello worked well for me. Good luck!
  13. Wow awesome recipe! I will certainly try this once I can incorporate meat. I'm still on mushy food for another couple weeks.
  14. Juny, you have to remember that this is a LIFE change. I myself have been sleeved for 2 weeks now and I have had my moments of uncertainty but you know what? I cant wait to be healthy and be able to just feel plain good! Your goals are very normal ones. Make small goals for yourself at first. Say maybe 10-15 pound for the next 4 weeks. So if you surpass that great! Just take it a day at a time. I have to tell you the second weeks is a huge change in how you feel and how you think. I have totally noticed that in me. I cant wait to work out! ME work out?! Ok, work out and excited have never been in the same sentence in my life! LOL....Just keep up what your doing and we will have little trip ups along our journey but we will succeed. I believe in YOU. Good luck to you.
  15. I also had gas pain for about a week. My sleeve was done on 1/28/13. My doctor wanted me to just walk...OMG! But finally all over.
  16. Oh my! You know what hon? You have done a fantastic job on your weight loss! Keep up the hard work. No one understands the pain and how hard it is for us but US. Don't let them bring you down, on the contrary just know they are jealous of your success! I am having my surgery on the 28th and have been really lucky with my co-workers being very supportive, but then I work in an office of 4 people. I am scared but happy at the same time.
