Hi! I have not been sleeved yet, but I have lost a lot of weight before to the point that my hair was falling out. At that time, I took the theraputic dose lf Biotin (from GNC) and that helped A LOT. My surgery is on Feb. 11 and I already started taking it. Also, I read on here that Visical was very good. Also, hairloss is also triggered by stress. The more you stress, the more hair will fall out. Try not to think about it. For every thought of hairloss I have, I tell myself "I declare my hair will remain healthy as my body becomes healthy" Hope this helps!

Hi Frye. Glad to hear you are ok. 82 lbs. is a lot and I am not surprised that it would take a toll on you. It broke my heart that you were feeling dumb in the ER, and no doctor should make you feel that way. That is their job and they are doing you no favors. So if you are ever in a similar position again ( and I really hope you wont) remember that doctors have to CARE for you. Warm wishes for you!

Well, any questions you have just let me know. There is another doctor that was recommended to me. His mame is Dr. Betances and he is just as good. I did A LOT of research on both, and even consulted with both doctors.

Hi Jason, Fear not! It sounds like you have an active social life. That means you have friends. They will most likely be in support of you getting healthy. You will learn to handle these situations... What works, what doesnt. I think that many of us (myself included) have placed such importance on food in social gatherings. Its about being SOCIAL. You would be the odd duck if you sat with your friends and said nothing during an entire night. I think as long as you hold a glass of something (water), and you are your regular self, you will do great. So go to MX, party it up and have fun!
