  1. Hi molliec. I am doing amazing. Down 46 pounds since 12/26. Back to work last week. Gotta get my energy and stamina back. Last Friday I was really tired after work and my top incision was hurting but took the weekend to relax and I'm doing good so far this week. About 3 hours of constant activity and I'm pooped... But so grateful for everything. How are you by the way...
  2. I have noticed since being sleeved that my skin is super dry all the time. I use lotion a lot of ut it does not seem to do as much good it use to. What do y'all do for dry skin?
  3. Yeah it's rough. Be careful when u go into the mushy stage you don't do that again. I still have some issues where I have eaten too fast or drank too fast. The sleeve will let you know every time.
  4. That could very well be tomorrow's protein shakes
  5. That sounds so yummy
  6. I'm with you guys on fatigue... I went back to work last Wednesday and by Friday I was tired. Even now going out and running errands for a couple of hours wears me out. Hoping it gets better soon.
  7. It will be fine. The first few days are uncomfortable but the more you get up and move around and sip on water the better you will feel faster. Good luck to all. I'm back at work tomorrow.
  8. I made this today in a loaf pan and it was extremely yummy. I also put some ground up turkey meatballs in it and it was amazing. Also used light alfredo sauce
  9. That sounds yummy. I will have to try that.
  10. It will be fine. Do what they say and walk and sip
  11. Mine is megan1961.add me too please
  12. No problem. Good luck with the pain. Just remember it won't last forever
  13. Walk and try to get water in. It is healing and when it doesn't hurt take advantage and do a few extra laps around the house. It does help
  14. Loose pants and slip on shoes. Something that will be comfortable for the ride home. Oh and a toothbrush. I took all sorts of stuff with me and didn't even look at what was in my bag. You will either be sleeping or walking around
  15. Mine was on the right. Everyone had me ready to have it on the left. But the more you walk the dog goes away... At least for me.
  16. I am sure you will be fine. The last thing I remember was they were hooking me up and one of the guys in the OR started cracking jokes with me. Relax, take a nap and then sip sip sip and walk when you wake up. Good luck and I will be sending prayers and warm happy thoughts your way
  17. I have not had the sharp stabbing pain for a few days. When I did it was like it was under the incision site where they removed the stomach. I get weird feelings if I move wrong or if I try to turn from one side to the other while I'm bent over.
  18. Kinda looks like mine did. The outward signs go away and you will be feeling much better in a few days
