  1. I agree with you. I am the same way. I am very happy I did this. The first few days were rough but now I'm all good and back to my normal routine. It is great
  2. Today is my 2 weeks. Jumped on the scale and I'm down 15 since surgery. Total of about 30 since 12/26

  8. Ha ha ha I'm young and fat and really didn't like it. They want your pulse to get to 165. I lasted 12 minutes. Sleep study is a pain but since I got my cpap machine (I've had mine for almost a year) and love it. It makes such a big difference. Dr Lewis (pulmonologist) is awesome. He cracks me up. Everything will be fine. Keep me posted
  9. Everything is going good. Been up and going more each day. I go back to my surgeon on the 23rd and hopefully get released to go back k to work. Getting a little tired of not working. Ready for some different food Ne t week
  10. It will get better. It may not seem like it now and you are wondering why you put yourself through this but it will get better. Most of my pain was from gas. I am a week out and feel great. Get up and walk and sip water. It does get better
  11. I saw my surgeon in October and I waited until January to have surgery because the sleeve was not covered by my insurance until then but usually everything happens pretty quickly
  12. Surgery went great. Was in some pain the first couple of days. It is an adjustment but it is not too bad. They pretty much left me alone the first day but the 2nd day I was up and about a lot. Since being home I have been doing just fine. It is getting easier to get all of my liquids in. And I finally got the soreness out. Things seem to be going great
  13. Yeah the protein is a big thing. I'm supposed to get 3 shakes in a day. It I'm not there yet so I started putting some in yogurt and get a bit more. Getting the water in is my big ordeal right now.

  15. Hi delta girl.. Good to hear you are feeling better. I was sleeved on 1/8 and I am feeling pretty good. Everything went pretty well. Finally able to get up and down without pain, which is nice. I am working on getting in more of my liquids in and I up to 2 protein shakes a day without feeling like it is too much. I see progress every day.
  16. Good luck. Prayers and warm fuzzy feelings sent your way. Make sure to walk all you can after surgery... It will help with the gas pain and soreness.

  20. I have the same pain on the right side. It is a pulling feeling. And it sucks. How are you doing with liquid intake
