  1. Ok....GOTTA share. Feeling pretty proud!
  2. 9 months out and I do have a problem with some sweet things but one thing I can not tolerate is frozen yogurt. I barf every time. Crazy, huh?
  3. I'm probably not the best person to give advise. I Did follow everything for the first 2 weeks but as soon as I was released for full food I pretty much ate what I wanted, just in small portions. (Still do) if I want pizza, I eat pizza. I refuse to spend the rest of my life counting everything I eat. I want to LIVE! My blood has consistently been good. I take a multivitamin in the morning. I don't obsess about protein or anything for that matter. I can tell you that my hair thinned and I bruise easily which I know are in direct relation to nutrients but I feel amazing and couldn't be happier. My PC doc monitors me pretty close. I do get on the scale daily but to me it's accountability. I never want to look like that unhappy girl in the blue tank top. I remember that day (it was a year ago). It was nearly 100 degrees and I wouldn't put on a swim suit out of pure embarrassment. I always had a smile on the outside but felt shameful on the inside. I NEVER want to be that girl again. I would do this exactly the same way if I had to do it all again.
  4. I have lost A LOT of hair. Luckily I have a lot of it although its very thin. I have extra skin on my stomach and especially on my thighs since I was a TOTAL pear shape. I'll tell you! It's TOTALLY worth every skin wrinkle under the sun. thank you for the encouragement. All the best to you. You're moments from awesomeness.
  5. It's "head hungry" I went through that for the first 3 months. In fact, before I realized how much I could eat, I would vomit from over eating. It was awful. I still enjoy a steak. I usually can only have 4 or 5 pieces and can't have the garlic potatoes if I'm gonna eat that many. I can eat everything. Just in moderation. It does get better. I promise!! Hang in there!!!
  6. Thank you but I'm telling you if I can lose 111 lbs Anyone can. It won't be long before others are envious of you. It was THE BEST decision if my life.
  7. Thank you all so much. I'm just under 5 foot tall so according to my "ideal weight" I could still lose a little more but doc would like to see me gain a few lbs and then maintain. (Never thought I would hear that lol) I'm pretty happy where I am. My tummy is very flat but I also have extra skin so it's not very pretty. I feel amazing but still can't totally see it in the mirror. It's kinda crazy. I'm in a small top and size 5 bottoms yet I still find myself grabbing the 12 and 14's. I look at the 5's and think there is no way they'll fit me but they do. Shopping is fun again!! So blessed!!
  8. Thank you so much!! I'm telling you, if I can do this ANYONE can!!!!
  9. So blessed!!!! 9 months out Start weight 246 Today's weight 135 111 pounds gone FOREVER NEVER looking back!!!! THIS is living!! We all deserve to feel this way!!!!
  10. I never realized how heavy I let myself get!! I got an app yesterday that does and side by side so I had to post this!! Almost 100 lbs down. At goal after only 8 months. SO BLESSED and NEVER looking back!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Here's a before and after
  12. My starting weight was 246. It's amazing. I love shopping so much. Such a new lease on life.
  13. Bought the CUTEST pair of size 8 jeans. Could have gone with the 6 but they were a bit tight. I'm so happy almost 100 lbs gone!! Surgery 12/12
  14. Thank you!! I feel amazing!!!
  15. I didn't realize it until just now but last night was the first time I'd really went out with a big group of friends for drinks and appetizers. Had an absolutely fabulous time and the shock of 90 lbs gone since the last time I saw this group was very flattering. (Hubby's coworkers) with 5 kids and working full time we just get so busy but it was SOOO fun to put on some cute size 8 jeans and sexy top. LOVE MY NEW LIFE
  16. I didn't tell a lot of people until just recently. (I'm 8 months out and a few lbs from goal *YAY ME*) I even went to the first few appts without even sharing it with my spouse. I wanted the decision to be mine and didnt want others opinions to influence me. After. I felt a little embarrassed. I'm more comfortable with it now and feel so proud.
  17. Ok! How did you keep your boobs! I have none left. Lucky lady. You look BEAUTIFUL AND CONFIDENT. LIVE IT UP
  18. You look awesome. Love the curves!! Such a Great feeling.
  19. I am 8 months out and mine was stinky for a while. I put peroxide in it and it got better although I'm very sure to wash it with soap and water in the shower. Belly buttons are kind of stinky sometimes anyway. Kinda gross but true.
  20. Wow! You don't even look like the same person. Gorgeous
  21. Chips and cheese and other snacks don't make a bad day. Did you eat as much as you did PRIOR to surgery? Probably not. tomorrow is another day and just hold yourself accountable. It's OK to have some "bad food" just don't make it a habit. I'm 8 months out, down 90 lbs (almost to my goal weight) and if I want to eat something I do. I don't eat much but I eat it. I refuse to live my life on a diet and I believe that limited portions make all the difference. Hang In there. Xoxox
