    Hair :(

    I'm a hair dresser and you lose 150-250 hair strands per day... That's normal and I freaked out as well... And if you start losing hair at 2-2.5 months out its due to all the vitamins that had been stored before the surgery are completely out of ur system at that point... Just make sure you use a leave in conditioner and take biotin... Do not not not use Pantene pro v... That will coat the hair and dry it out from within... It may feel fine but it's basically suffocating ur hair and when ur hair is in a fragile state it will make it worse... And if you start thinning buy nioxin.... It's a hair loss product line that if u use it then you won't continue to thin... It does wonders...

    I felt the same way... I got home from the hospital on Wednesday and went to church Sunday and totally didn't realize I couldn't receive so I skipped it the first week and felt so strange cuz I stayed in the pew while everyone walked around me... I think as long as you make sure u really chew it you should be fine... And I took the smallest sip of wine and I was fine...
  5. And I always eat slowly and take 20 minutes at least to eat every meal... And I don't drink 1/2 an hour before or an hour after each meal... But my main problem is being 28 and going out drinking with my friends... I have never been so aware of the calories in alcohol... And I should probably start working out now since I haven't done that yet

I'm really strict about eating just three meals Typically breakfast I have a spoon of peanut butter w/ banana or apple slices or I scramble one egg w/ ham cut up into it Lunch I usually roll deli meat in lettuce w/ fruit on the side or I'll eat a 100cal flat bread with deli meat lettuce n mayo... Dinner I'll eat whatever... I pretty much never have cut carbs out completely but it should never be what ur meal totally consists of... If I eat pizza I get it with meatballs or chicken on top so I always get protein...
  7. I had my surgery on jan 7th and lost 60lbs so far but have hit a stall for the past two weeks... I shouldn't complain since I'm down a lot but everyone keeps expecting to hear I've lost more since the 60lb total 2 weeks ago... I work in a salon so everyday clients ask me what my "new total" is and I feel guilty when I probably shouldn't that it hasn't changed

    Swanson is definitely the best from all the cans I have tried... I started going to the Chinese food place and getting just a quart of broth which is AMAZING... And they charge me $2 cuz I don't get anything in it... And when I need a change I go to the Japanese food place and ask for the miso soup broth...

  11. I haven't been nervous at any point until right now... I'm completely freaking out... In 12 hours I will be at the hospital!!!
  12. My surgery is on the 7th and this liquid diet is killing me right now... All I've been having is broth and protein shakes... And sugar free jello... I'm trying just to stay busy and not think too much about it...
