  2. Congratulations! Great Job!
  3. I like it.... I was wondering if anyone else has tried it and was wondering what your thoughts are about it?
  4. Oh yeah... I have taken in too big of a drink and was in so much pain until I could get the air out of my body! No fun
  5. lol now that is funny..... My Dr did not even listen and I did not have any action for 12 days ..... Oh my that was not fun. However, now that the plumbing is working well I am a happy camper!
  6. Sorry I have no magic answer other than it will go away. You are doing all the right things!
  7. Yummy! Glad you had success!
  8. For sure call the Dr. .... Maybe you should try to stay on liquids until then. I remember eating yogurt and cottage cheese in the beginning was very difficult. It took time for my new tummy to adjust. Best Wishes
  9. How exciting! Best wishes!
  10. Yes, Premier shakes from Costco or SAMs clubs. Much cheaper. I did that and lost a a fair amount of weight.... I use those even now everyday. My nut says to drink 2 a day post op. They are 30 grams of protein each. I also ate one protein bar a day.... Not sure if your Dr. Will allow that for you pre op. My Dr. Did. Best wishes
  11. Well I am sorry to hear that they are not giving you anything. I can not imagine having that experience. Get the Dr in there and let him know how much pain you are in! That is just not right that they will not give you anything. My goodness.
  12. I would tell your Dr. To have the nurse give you something if your still in the hospital. While in the hospital I was given something for gas. When I got home I used gas strips and still do..... Best wishes....
  13. I had them right after getting home from the hospital! I still enjoy them at 4 months out. It is kind of nice to in the evening.....
  14. Yes I would do the sleeve again tomorrow. I have had good success so far. It is true no matter what you choose you have to change your eating habits. I have a few friends that have the band. One has lost 50 lbs in a 3 year time frame. She is now getting ready to have the Bypass done. She chose the bypass over the sleeve because of diabetes problems. The other friend lost 100 lbs with the band. She had to have if removed after two surgical adjustments from slippage. Unfortunately, she has regained about 45 lbs back. That is why I chose the sleeve......the band just was not for me. I also learned that the band only has a 7 year manufactures guaranty. It's like the tires we put on our cars the material eventually falls apart. Not very good odds if you ask me! Best Wishes with whatever it is you choose! Tina
  15. i am with you...... they have these tasty ones made with chicken and pineapple.... so good!
  16. chocolate protien bar....kills the cravings for chocolate for me every time!
  17. YES..... One time I counted and the figure shocked me..... It is the worst during the day! You will love the yogurt and refried beans. You will fill so full. But, the liquid stage is really important..... Your stomach swelling needs time to go down. Best wishes!
  18. First of all let me say you are awesome! You are a fighter and you will win! I have read that when people hit stalls they add extra calories for a few days. Then they go back to normal calorie intake and it seems to break the stall.... Just a thought... You have to do what you are comfortable with! Best Wishes keep up the good work! Tina
  19. Welcome sending you well wishes for a speedy recovery!
  20. Sending prayers, thoughts and hugs your way! You will begin to feel better soon. In the beginning there is so much to deal with. Life does stabilize ... it will get better promise and it does get easier! Best Wishes Tina
