New pain?
Sounds like you might have over did it. I imagine if that is the case it will pass in a few days. Hope your pain goes away soon. Best Wishes

Stomach Pain, ER Visit & Results: To much bending and squats!
The other day I am at work and this nagging dull pain in my stomach gets worse and travels. So I call the Dr. they send me to ER. Did a Ultra Sound Gallbladder clear, No leak in the staple line.... Come to find out the pain is a result of to much bending and squatting. Never in my life did I think I would have that problem. Anyone else experience this or something similar?

What does the new "full" feel like?
I hiccup when I am full. It does fill like a cup filling up. If I eat to fast (happens at work Sometimes only have 30 min. lunch break ) I feel bloated with air.... thats very uncomfortable & I am not able to eat much.

One of my incisions is leaking. Any advice?

Eating is hard work
I get that.... I really got annoyed counting..... I talked with the nut about it. she said chew until the food is the consistency of baby food..... that helped me to relax and not be so intense. Everything is new.....learning a different way to live. It all gets easier.....Best Wishes

Eating is hard work
I to had that experience...... it seemed from one day to the next it just got easier. For me it was at the 2 month mark. I began to enjoy different flavors of foods. Hang in there.

When can I eat raw veggies?
Every Dr is different. At 3 months I was eating tomatoes, jicama & cucumbers. At 4 months out I have yet to try anything else.

They sent me to him. But when the case worker calls you I am sure you could ask for a specific Dr. I just went with who was closest to where I live.

Problem Foods?
I am almost 4 months post op and still have a hard time with, broccoli, corn, and garbanzo beans. I have yet to try lettuce. Steak is difficult for me to digest. I can eat it but it feels real heavy. It's funny I can eat refried beans... Or even whole boiled beans.. But garbanzo beans no way.

Hi yes I am from So. Cal. I had my surgery done by Dr. Chin Kaiser. He currently works out of the Redlands office. He was a great surgeon. Answered all my questions, In May they will be opening up the Fontana Bari section in the new hospital. He will be doing his surgeries there. He was fantastic did a great job!

At a stall at three months
Your intake seems right.....I notice when the scale isn't moving the inches are dropping! Try not to let it get you down....As long as you continue what your doing your body will respond. Best Wishes

Breaking down... Not a pound lost
I gained 5 lbs in the hospital.....it's all the IV fluids.....You will lose it....

I would talk with the Dr also. That happened to me the first couple BM`s I had. I used preparation h wipes.... they helped me tons...

Pain in chest
ok I will tell you it goes away. I experienced lots of discomfort to. remember you just had major surgery..... your still healing and that takes time. the swelling will go down, everything will heal inside and out.....

I will look for the Hawaiian punch packets..... The crush packets are sugar free.
