  1. You can do this! After everything is said and done you will be so glad you did it. Remember the weight you lose before surgery will make it less weight you have to lose after surgery :-) Thats an added bonus. Also your liver will thank you for shrinking it so your surgery can go a little smoother.
  2. Thats great news. I would not want anyone to have a leak. About the pain on your left side my dr told me that it was from where they removed my stomache and put like amesh there to keep it from herniating.
  3. You will. Its kind of good that you are slow losing, because of excess skin also because of gall stones, believe me they are no fun. I think Im losing slow to. Im content with it because I didnt put all this weight on in a few months, no it took years. Remember also usualy when you lose weight slow it will stay off. Keep your head high and stay positive, the weight will leave just give it time.
  4. Almost all have hit the stall at two or three weeks out. You body is just catching up. Take your measurements during this time and I bet you are loosing inches. Keep positive the weight will start coming off again. Put the scales away.
  5. I really dont want to scare you but some of those problems are signs of a leak. There is a forum you can look up and they tell you what symptoms are when you have a leak. Good luck keep us informed let us know how you are doing. I will also tell you after surgery for me I had pain in same place as you but no fever or nausea. It took about a two weeks for the pain to finally subside.
  6. In the begining I didn't have any depression, now I do some what. Don't know why either? I guess everything about this process has been slow so I guess why not the depression lol. You will be fine I promise, let all of those emotions and tears out, cause really soon you will be feeling alot better. Especially when you see and feel your weight loss.

  19. Great job! Keep it up. Looking slim :-)
  20. They test it through blood test. My husbands levels were low when he was tested. The Dr. put him on Androgel 1.25%. It is a gel that he puts on his shoulder or stomache. It has helped him get his energy back, concentration, sex drive and so on. It's exspensive but worth it. It runs about 400.00 a month but if you have insurance ofcourse it will be cheaper. Good luck I believe your marriage will be fine just remember God doesn't give us things we can't handle.
  21. I have tried a couple of times to eat and drink, let me tell you it is no fun. I threw up both times, what it did is the water would sink to the bottom of my stomache and cause the food to come right up gross. I also tried to drink afterwards and the same thing. I learned my lesson.
  22. Just tell her you have the flu. She will understand.
  23. Some people :-P maybe it was TOM for her or something? Or maybe she needs to get some? Or maybe she's hungry? Lol Oh well what ever it was hopefully she can read and see that you are one of the most positive people on this forum. Never start arguments always trying to end them with humor. You always have some very good advice.
  24. Accept it! You worked very hard to get where you are! When they say the compliments to you just think back at all you have gone through your whole life and take a step back and realize where you are today! You are beautiful inside and out, now its time that you see it! Oh yeah congratulations on your weight loss!
