  1. Someone actually said something to you? I do take sips of water with my food. Sips mind you. I'm 2 1/2 years out, I forgot why we aren't supposed to drink with our meals. Things seem to always get stuck going down.
  2. It sound like your getting back on track. Besides, I wouldn't obsess on 1 or 2 pounds. I weigh a pound or two more at night than I do in the morning.
  3. Well, I did have pain. I didn't want company. AND my husband said I was crabby. BUT, it didn't last very long, a few days. Like kingdavid757 said, everybodies journey is different . Don't dwell to much on it. Good luck!
  4. Oops! Spelled your handle wrong! That's right, you're a threat to fat!
  5. Putting on cheer leading outfit and getting pom-poms! Go @threatrejo go!
  6. @Ivlpar Stuff happens. I see a lot of people picking vodka. I know when I was on Adkins, I drank diet coke and rum. Yes, yes, I know we aren't supposed to drink alcohol or drink carbonated beverages. But some of of us "chose" to imbibe in moderation. I can hardly drink. It hits me hard AND I get full. Only my opinion!
  7. *shaking head* Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Everyone is on their own journey. Nothing is black and white.
  8. They say the surgery removes the hunger hormone, is that feeling true? It did for me. I rarely ever get hungry. I have to remind myself to eat.
  9. Just wait! It gets better from here on out.
  10. @@lachellove Of course you are worrying. It's major surgery. You have every right to worry. Stay strong. It's worth it.
  11. @@roxy79 Yes, and it progressed to where I couldn't stand up without fainting.
  12. Ummmm.... No diet. After surgery most things I'm not supposed to eat, don't appeal to me. The problem I have is I'm not hungry. I basically force myself to eat.
  13. You can do it! Kind of like a divorce, your losing part of yourself. So excited for you.
  14. More water! I didn't drink enough and ended in hospital dehydrated.
  15. You can do it! I'm wearing my cheerleader outfit, which I can wear now, waving my pom poms around. Yeah @@lachellove!
  16. @@hikergirl14 My son calls me linebacker - because I push through things and nothings stops me. He also calls me hippy for my views and the way I dress at times.
  17. I went from a 38 D to a 36 C. And no, they aren't perk . Husband says there fine, but he's being kind. I lay down they disappear. Ah well, I'm still glad I did it.
  18. Not what you ask. lol! I need to read and not scim.
  19. Plain and simple. I didn't like the idea of a port. Also, I thought with getting part of my stomach removed, I'd have an easier time losing weight.
  20. 1-3 pounds. And honestly depends on when I weigh myself. If I weigh in the morning, I have no weight gain. If I weigh at night, I fluctuate. I'm 2 1/2 years out.
  21. I like fru-fru drinks like frozen daiquiris. I'm only able two get 2 down and it takes ALL night. I also like hurricanes. Watch it though. Alcohol hits harder than before. One or two drinks and I'm done.
  22. When I met my husband, he said I was beautiful, at 220. The morning my husband rolled over and said good morning beautiful. I'm 125 pounds. He says no matter what, I'm the most beautiful woman he knows. He's a keeper.
  23. I like the boho look. I'm 52. I just figured out I'm now a medium and a size 9. All the clothes I bought last summer are 12s. Nothing fits. Shopping time again. This is getting expensive. Anyway, I look younger than I am. I'm able to get away with younger clothes, not to young. My fashion. Try it on. If I like it ( and I have things I can wear it with) I buy it. My favorite are long flowing summer dresses. The ones with the slit up the side. Husband says I'm still trying to hide.
  24. BTW, 13 miles. I'm impressed. I was doing six a couple times a week. Accidentally got turned around once and did 11.
