  1. It'll get better. With solids, try to get them in. A hard boiled egg, tuna, soft cheese, thin slices of lean deli meat. I am 7 weeks down. And I don't drink enough water either. But I enjoy every little bit of different food I can get my hands on lol Don't get discouraged.
  2. I am also interested in this topic. I am interested in becoming vegan as well but I would never eat soy for health reasons. Any yummy alternatives?
  3. I want to say I either started or contributed to a thread about this exact topic. Someone on that thread stated that they had had a blind ng tube done no problem. Just something to think about. Search it
  4. Any recommendations? Body pump was good and step kicked my butt! Any other good ones?
  5. I'm down 41 pounds last thursday since surgery
  6. By removing do you mean that you're purging?
  7. Today was my first day of veggies and omg. They are the best thing EVER!!!!
  8. I guess I'll be going carb free then. Damn carbs lol
  9. We are close in date: I was 11/26 I just wonder what could have triggered it. I am feeling moody and my nipples hurt. Perhaps pms.
  10. This kind of makes sense. I've stayed far away from carbs until these past 3 days. Maybe I just need to recharge and I'll be okay. I'm ready to hit it full force at the gym tomorrow to make up for the calories lol
  11. I haven't been sleeping a lot: average of 4-5 hours a night. I am concerned about money. But other than that no. Maybe sleep is the problem? I'm so mad. I just can't help it. I am also all or nothing when it comes to weight loss. I guess I'll try to be better tomorrow.
  12. I'm 7 weeks out today and for the past 3 day have been "binging". Now, my version of a binge now is a whole slice and a half of toast. Ritz crackers. Sushi. Almonds. Chicken with a bit of sour cream and guac. Nothing horrible, and my calories stay under 800. But. I am eating to the point of being super full. I don't know what's the matter with me. 7 weeks of solid control and now I'm slipping?! Weight is still moving down but I'm getting discouraged. Any advice?
  13. I think the majority of people get discouraged when they hit a stall. I know I was and I thought I was a failure. It gets better. Try to stay positive and remain focused and on track. We will win this thing!
  14. My room mate calls me a fat ass to this day and I'm almost 50 pounds down. I know he's insecure about how amazing and confident I look and feel but it still bothers me.
  15. It is significant! You can HELLA notice that you've lost weight. You look great!
  16. How are your clothes fitting? I barely bought a scale a few days ago, and I'm at 6 weeks out. It's nice to know how much you weigh but it drives you crazy at the same time. Celebrate small goals. And don't live by the scale, it'll drive you nuts. I'm probably going to return mine as now I find myself weighing everyday
  17. I was unhappy when I hit my first stall as well. But like everyone said, instead of thinking that you only lost 26 pounds out of ____ amount, think about the fact that you lost 26 pounds. Make smaller goals and celebrate small victories. How are your clothes fitting? How are you feeling? I now make every 25 pounds a mini goal. And I am happy. Because slowly but surely I'm doing it and I am winning. Now that you're 2 weeks, you will begin to be able to eat more kinds of food. And you'll feel the restriction. Stay positive. You didn't gain the weight in 2 weeks, you can't expect it to go away in 2 weeks.
  18. Wow, I would have told your doctor to go f herself. Who is she to judge you? Mirena is pretty good. I've had 2 inserted and removed and I've never had children. I was on the Nuvaring as well, but one day a nurse told me that because I was heavy that it wasn't as effective. She said its like putting a drop of red food coloring in a teaspoon vs a tablespoon. You'll see both turn shades of red but the teaspoon is darker because there is less Water for it to spread out in. It's the first time someone told me that so I don't know how true or correct it is
  19. What weight did you start at? And what have you been eating?
  20. What do you think about eating them? Irritation? Heart burn? I really want hot sauce
  21. I'll bump this, I want to dye my hair so I'm interested in the answer
  22. It's kinda like liquid. I too can finish a large amount of semi soft food. But with dense Protein, a few bites and it's over. don't stress too much about it I'm 6 weeks. But back at 2 weeks I could also do larger amounts of cottage cheese than others Edit: I'm sorry! Thought you were speaking about Jello Gelatin. I have not tried pudding at all but imagine that at 70 calories per container for the sugar free ones you should be fine.
  23. It tastes like butt! I unfortunately drink it once a week for a bowl movement. It leaves a residue on your tongue and... Eww.
