  1. As a fellow shortie- I totally understand- my mom almost fell over when I told her that with 96lbs lost, I was still obese (4 more lbs!!!). It's insane- I'm in an 8/10 and medium shirt. But- you look AMAZING! And you WILL get there. I was stalled for 7 weeks and it broke this week.
  2. 153.4! One more lb down!
  3. Same here- it's so weird to realize how fat my belly makes me look. I am wearing 8's now and realizing that even at a size 8- I look fat is NOT cool. I look pretty decent in clothes, but naked- not so much. Ill post a belly pic when I get home
  4. Yay for Onderland!! I went almost to goal shopping yesterday. Went to the buckle- got in one pair of size 28 (6) jeans and the others were all 29's (8). Got some cute outfits for a trip we are taking . I'm at 153- goal is somewhere between 130-140 (depending on how I feel)- I have huge boobs so they account for why my goal is higher than a lot of people's. My original goal was a size 8- but I really feel like I should lose more, so I am.
  5. I hate that they do that! So frustrating! Good luck! Keep us updated!
  6. You may get lucky . Can you try on the dress in another size maybe like a 20 and see how it fits?
  7. The stall from hades broke! 154.4! I'm getting there! 9lbs in 4 weeks probably isn't doable- but I will do my best
  8. Is it an aline? If so- you might get lucky . And I will say the measurements never match! I just had to buy a formal dress for a black tie wedding. After looking online- my busy measurement puts me in a size 20, my waist at a 12 and my hips at a 16. However- I was in 10's solidly and even needed a 6 in one dress.
  9. You look AMAZING!!! That dress is phenomenal!! Where did you find it??
  10. I'm almost 9 months out- I had 113 lbs to lose. I lost the first 50 in 2.5 months. I have lost the next 42 over the next 7 months. I'm still losing- it is just much slower. That being said- I've dropped clothing sizes pretty quickly!
  11. She's great honestly . Doing awesome- rocking size 8's . My cousin is considering doing the same thing now- she lost (then got super sick from band complications) then gained a lot back- she's considering gaining the extra 7lbs to have the sleeve covered under her insurance!
  12. He did a band to new band revision in one surgery NYE of 2009(I believe??) and then a summer 2011 did a 1 surgery band to sleeve
  13. Mongolian beef isn't normally! I'm a total chicken when it comes to spicy foods
  14. Chicken and broccoli? Mongolian beef (that's my go to and was pre-sleeve), shrimp?
  15. I've had it on a few occasions. No issues- unfortunately... lol. My dr. Recommends a drink called sparkling ice if you want the bubbles- it's lightly carbonated.
  16. My sister had a TON of issues with her band and Dr. Cribbins did her revision. He did a great job and she loves him!
  17. I was shopping a few weeks ago. I picked up a dress by the size on the hanger (large) and I was looking at it thinking man- that's so tiny! That thing isn't going to fit! Well- sure enough I got it back, took it off the hanger, put it on. It fit and it for well. Took it off went to look for the price tag- What I thought was a tiny large- was actually a size small!!!!!! SMALL! At that point- I didn't care what it cost- it was going to hang in my closet even if I never wore it!
  18. Protein bars were my friend from the moment I could eat "mushies" my doc ok'ed them. Greek yogurt, cottage cheese- the ricotta bake, eggs (egg salad, scrambled, deviled, dry fried, boiled).
  19. Very much so. I don't think (or at least I didn't think) I was ever treated poorly. However people are so nice to me now! It's crazy! My husband jokes I must have "please tell me your life story" tattooed on my forehead! I also have people give me random things free or just generally being nice.
  20. The meatloaf and beef merlot are both awesome .
  21. Maybe switch to a soy based protein? It is still well digested by the body.
  22. Today I had coffee at 6:30, 1.5 eggs "dry fried" around, lunch I had 1/2 a link of Italian sausage that I bought at the farmers market Saturday and a string cheese, dinner- I made sour cream chicken enchiladas- I replace a little more than 1/2 the sour cream with Greek yogurt (my hubby hates the thought of Greek yogurt- and he has no idea, so it doesn't change the taste)- I don't eat the tortilla on mine- so I get 2ish oz of shredded chicken and cheese. And sauce . I made guac and had a little dollop of that on the side. For snacks I had 2oz of beef jerky and a babybel cheese. According to MFP- 850 calories and 59g of protein so far. I may have another snack later...
  23. I get 60-65 all from food- I'm almost 9 months out and it took me until 4-5 months out to be able to get it all from food
  24. 156.8- +.8... I had my IUD taken out which started another TOM. Not fair lol.
