  1. Well at least she showed up. I had one day of bleeding last week and knew something didn't seem right, took a test today and I'm guessing it was implantation because I definitely got a BFP today!
  2. I started at 248. 180 was my previous stopping point much like your 160. I am currently 143lbs and 8lbs from goal at 10 months post op. I'm in a size 8 steadily (I'm 4'11"). I went into my initial appt thinking rny, but after much research I decided the sleeve was the right choice for me.
  3. I had a mirena. I had it put in 3.5 years ago; and had it removed after a miscarriage in July (it had slipped out of optimum position and according to my doc was about to fall out). It worked remarkably well with very very few side effects.
  4. Has anyone been able to breast feed post surgery? I was sleeved 10 months ago and just found out this morning that I am pregnant. According to my LMP- I am 4 weeks along. I breastfed my other two exclusively and I would love to be able to do the same with this nugget. Has anyone had success post-op?
  5. You look great! Glad you are doing better now! Keep up the good work Aaron!!
  6. I have always lost a lot of hair on average I did notice mine increased, but I would say I'm 99% back to normal now!
  7. I'm 10 months out and starting to see re-growth. I have little baby hairs poking out everywhere. I had incredibly thick hair before surgery and while it never got thin- it was a noticeable loss (say from really thick to the thinner side of average). I'm ready to have my hair back to normal
  8. I love going to BBQ places. I eat my bit of chicken or brisket and I'm good.
  9. My BFF got pregnant her last year in nursing school- she graduated in May and baby was born in July! I really don't know how she did it!
  10. Yay! (Or boo!). Hope they get it figured out! I guess all the talk of how I could set a train schedule by my period made my body go haha just kidding and I started a week early!
  11. I look at portion sizes and CRINGE! It drives me insane! My husband has gained about 10lbs since my surgery (from eating left overs off my plate grr). But- I finally say him down and explained exactly what portion sizes were! My almost 10 year old has lost 7lbs (she wasn't ever obese, but she was eating terribly and had gotten sedentary). My middle one only likes healthy foods and eats like a bird- she's a 5 meal a day'er and eats small portions of good foods naturally (lucky duck)!
  12. I have been like a clock! You could run a train schedule by my period! It's ridiculous. I didn't have one for almost a year before surgery, but other than my miscarriage in July it has been on time and a pretty rough go.
  13. It actually works out to be 4 visits. You would have August 15, sept ___ (30 days), oct (60days) November (90 days)
  14. No! She was an oops pre-surgery! Although I did have a blighted ovum in July-9 months post op. we are planning to start trying in December for another
  15. We have a family of 5- plus my dad and little brother are with me for the next month (god help me!). Our grocery budget is $500/ month with all 7 of us.
  16. Hmmmm.... So- you're 2 weeks late-ish. A pregnancy test should show if you are (although with my daughter it didn't). I'm curious to know what your doctor says
  17. Here are a couple pictures to demonstrate the skin. My thighs are pretty awesome all things considering.
  18. I'm losing- very slowly still. I hate shakes and they all made me throw up (literally I tried everything one can buy online or in a box store with no luck) at 6 weeks my dr had me supplementing with bars- I had one for breakfast this morning because I was volunteering at 7:30 and didn't wake up in time. I'm 14lbs from my goal and 2 from the surgeons, so we will see what it takes to get there. I still eat carbs (trust me)- I just don't indulge in a lot of them. I had a chick fil a waffle fry today for goodness sake!
