Depressed! Super Slow loser!
Had surgery 1/16/13 SW 200, 169 now. I don't understand why weights not coming off? Used to be a size 20, now 14. Working out 4-5x/week. I started very inspired and hopeful, but now depressed. What is wrong with me? Even with losing inches & using different scales, using MFP no weight loss. Is there anyone else going through this? I need to reach out bec I feel so lost...stopped goin to forum bec I feel worse seeing people lose so fast. Help ;(

Need positivity from post op peeps!
Sending positive thoughts your way! 3 1/2 months out and this is the best decision ever! Lost 31 pounds, slow but I'll take it! Dropped lots of inches and came from 2xl to L top, 20 pants to 14. Weighing scale does not tell the whole story! This forum is my support group, it's not always positive-- but heck so is life! Read along and if it's not good, skip it and take the best ones. Goodluck on your surgery, and we are in this journey together!!!! Hugs!

Extreme body and mood changes !
Hi Sarah, I had all those changes the first month, I'm out almost the same time as you, but don't feel those anymore. The first month I was always irritable, emotional, was cold, and like I'm having pmS all the time. I agree the other posts, make sure you are hydrated coz that will give you headache...are you eating enough at dinner time? Maybe your sugar levels go down through the night that's why you get headaches.

Hi Laura-Ven, Great job avoiding the food, and on keeping your temper... It could probably be worse lol! And I agree with you!!! The temptation is so real, and it is constant--I mean all the time for me. .it is hard try and eat healthy, especially avoiding pitfalls (like snacking junk food), eating lunch with colleagues bec that's when I get so tempted so I alienate myself Worst part for me, no weight loss! Keep up the good work and hopefully you guys will kiss & make up tonight ;D- No weight loss--why?

I don't understand??? I am losing inches, top size 2xl down to large, pants 20 down to 14. Shoes 8 down to 7. Been working out 4-5 times/week zumba or insanity, running 2miles/day, eating 800-900 calories, drinking fluids and protein, using MfP. Weigh loss 30lbs is the same since 1st month post-op? What am I doing wrong? Surgery Jan 16. Weight 200 and now still 170. I know I am smaller, and all my clothes are so big now, but why is the scale not moving??? Help! I exert a lot of effort in eating healthy and exercising, but am feelin really lost and disappointed now- No weight loss-- why?

Hi i agree with you that it can be hard when I see a lot of people losing very fast in a short time...and it can be frustrating, and I have to remind myself that I need to celebrate my own weight loss even if it is slow. Surgery date 1/16 and lost 28 pounds, but I will never lose that on my own without surgery so I am very very thankful. I have never felt this young, inches are gone, dropped down 2xl to large. And can move so much better, no more foot pain... So it's more than numbers for me, but yes, I still weigh myself a lot, and wish te scale would move faster. But am also realistic bec I don't want to lose my joy by comparing with others. with 200 pounds/low Bmi, md said my average weight loss goal is about 10pounds/month, and I hope I can keep that.- January sleevers......what's your weight loss so far?
Jan 16- from 200 and now 173. Slow but I'm losing inches, so happy because I can finally run, exercise and my feet and knees are not hurting anymore ;D- Lying about Weight Loss Surgery !

Very well said!!!!!!!- Serving size for refried beans?
Aaaaaww Laura!!! Love this photo, so pretty!!! Hot momma!- Quest Protein Bars?
Cinnamon roll- I feel like I am a slow loser!
I agree! the scale stopped moving for me and i'm 7weeks out, i lost fast the first 3 weeks and its the same weight for me now. But all my clothes are loose, i get teased at work I need to get new ones. I bought my first size Large top, and I used to wear 2xl. I can fit 14/16 and i used to wear 20 pants. So I guess, the weighing scale doesn't really tell the whole story. Although it would be nice to see it go down, ill take non scale victories too! - Almost 4 months and stall... Advice.
