I have been calling Medicare for weeks now and the sleeve is not covered in Oregon yet and when I have called my AARP-securehorizons that I go throgh for my Medicare has said the same thing....Now last week Securehorizon said they cover the sleeve wasnt sure what to think so I called again and talked to someone else and they said the same thing... So today I called them one more time an they said yes again and gave me his name told me to wright it down and the date and time for my records of him saying it was covered... so now what I called and talked to the doctors office and she said no its not covered but she would call and let me know what she finds out I think I still want her to send in my paper work and see what happens... so those that have been throgh this like appeals and such please what do you think...

Called Medicare again today they still know nothing .... HELP

YES,but each district is different I just unfortunately live in one of the only six states not yet covering the sleeve but supposed to change this month and I can't find where to find this info

OK LOOKING AGAIN ANYONE FOUND OUT IF THEY ARE PAYING FOR THE SLEEVE IN OREGON AND OR WASHINGTON YET THEY SAID THIS MONTH... OR CHANGING THE AGE IN OTHER STATES

Hi scsleever: I'm still looking my doctors office says this month like the 15th but no garantee... I live In Washington having sleeve surgery in Oregon they are both in the same district... my last appointment is friday 1/11/13 I need it to happen now I dont want to wait any longer... where do you live there is only 6 states left not to cover the sleeve I meet all requierments ...its making me sick just worring all the time... Be proud of yourself for showing your mom what she could do with you.. almost anyone would want to do this once they are showen what they could do with this tool... best of luck to the both of you... this should help you both having each others help.... embrace it... use it.... love it together.......

I only have to do a lite diet for 2 weeks then liquids for one day.if your bmi is very high over 40 then you have to do much more like 2 weeks liquid diet good kuck ,your lucky to be doing this so young much better for everything...

I have Medicare and can't find out if my district Oregon and Washington are now going to cover the sleeve I have my last appointment on January 11, 2013 and am going crazy trying to find out I looked at the web site and still didn't understand I'm 55 years old and meet all the requirements PLEASE HELP ,now getting depressed

Medicare does anyone know where the web site is to see when Oregon and Washington Medicare is going to start paying for the sleeve its supposed to be decided this month going crazy waiting for my Doctors office to call and say they have passed it I need to look myself

It goes by district Oregon and Washington are the same... I live in Vancouver Washington there are web sites gov.org for other about when they decided to accept the sleeve but can't find one for mine
