  1. I cried because my husband ordered Puzza one day. I mean it was bad that I even started screaming. It is totally normal having teenage emotions every once in a while. If you are having them daily then that could be the guilt emotions getting to you from not taking this surgery serious. I am not trying to be a b***h in any way but you HAVE to do this for yourself and your family.
  2. Why did you do the surgery? For a lifestyle change right? You have to stick with it Mastiff! It would be silly for you to get the surgery and give up so easily because that is what you are doing. What if you gave yourself a leak because of what you are doing to yourself. Think of your family. We are all here because we had an addiction to food, I know I did. You can do this! Focus and keep your head up!
  3. Unfortunately my doc went staple happy on all 5 of my incisions. It looks awful with not just the incision scars but the staple scaring as well. He got me 27 times! Lol. Straight up gun shot victim.
  4. If you climb a tree because a Zombie was after you, don't you think the Zombie would stay there? Yes! Then there would be more Zombies swarming that tree because they smell you. The next thing you know, you will be Zombie breakfast.
  5. You can drink but you will have no desire too, which I didn't. It hurts because if you drink too fast it will give you pains. It takes a little bit to want to drink. At first it was such a chore to me because I could only sip. Drinking is a challenge for the first week or two. You have to re-teach yourself how to do it.
  6. Amy, I see it! I can't believe no one else can.
  7. Oh no, it has begun. Yeah mine is starting to get turtle slow now so I am expecting the stopping point any time.
  8. Surgery update! I am 27 and 5' 7. My starting weight on Day of surgery 2/11 275lbs Today I am 248lbs! Yup, 27lbs since surgery. Never thought I would lose that fast but it is starting to slow down now. I have a feeling my stall is getting ready to come.
  9. What day was your last group meeting the week or two before surgery? You look really familiar.
  10. I got sleeved there on February 11th by Dr. Greenlee. He is awesome and I LOVE the ladies there!
  11. Girl, you are absolutely gorgeous!
  12. Don't you hate those? I usually pound on my chest hoping it vibrates all over.
  13. I just wanted all you helpers to know how much I appreciate you. You guys are wonderful! I have found so many needed answers from reading these posts. It has helped me before and after surgery. I can find most answers just by looking Keep up the awesome work!
  14. Thanks ladies.. You and me both. I usually just stalk posts all day long on here and rarely make one. I started being a worry wart thinking I may be dehydrated or a leak. We all know how we can freak ourselves out when it comes to over thinking especially on a leak.
  15. Yeah, my doc starts phase 4 at 2 weeks which is crazy.. I noticed I can't handle it. I spoke with the nurse and she told me to start back to phase 2. I sure as heck didn't complain on that one because eating hurts even when it's slow. I ate chicken twice and realized it was a no go so I put myself back on softs last night but now I have to go back to full liquids.
  16. I do, haven't done the Biggest Loser circuit training yet since I am 17 days post op. doc only lets me do Cardio right now but I am really looking forward to doing that. I love the idea and the lights that signal for you to stop and go. Pretty awesome!
  17. I just took my BP and it is 123/99 so it is definitely elevated on the bottom. I usually run 110's/ 70's. my pulse was 110 which that runs in the 70's. called the doc. And he will get back to me whenever.
  18. I am now on "regular" proteins. I can't handle chicken which gets stuck so I took the more dense foods out. I did eat it last night and ended up having to get rid of some of it. I guess I have been feeling like poop since he started me back on regulars this past Monday at 2 weeks out. That don't explain the tired weak feeling does it? I actually stood up a minute ago and got dizzy too.
  19. I am thinking about calling the doc because how I have felt the past 3 days. As soon as I wake up I am nauseated. A couple weeks ago he put me on Zofran but that isn't even working. Now I am losing all of my energy. Today I woke up and have been fighting the mouth watering vomit feeling. Has anyone else felt this way? I felt great for the first 2 weeks and now I feel like total poop. I have slimed a couple times too in the past couple of days. Things just keep getting stuck whenever I eat so I am going to go to full liquids again. Ugh, I am freaking out about a leak of dehydration at this point.
  20. I eat Tums like candy because Omeprazoles once or twice a day don't really help me. You will be fine to eat them. The high dose 1000mg ultra is my best friend all day and as soon as I lay down.
