  1. I hope all is well too. Keep us updated, prayers your way.
  2. I just had half a hot dog and a very small salad.
  3. That's really up to your belly honestly. I can eat spicy foods some days but not others.
  4. I had surgery 2/11. Gained 7lbs in the hospital but it is coming off pretty fast. In that pic I was down 38lbs.
  5. I just got out today actually, i was in for 5 days. My staple line on the inside got inflamed and infected. I also caught Gastroenteritis, in other words stomach virus and was dehydrated. My stomach would spasm so bad that I was in worse pain then what I felt when I woke up from this surgery. Bad times! My stomach still hurts but I am dealing with it.
  6. So I was bored at the hospital and decided to make a 6 week post op pic. Strutting the gown and IV look
  7. I have been on the losers side for 6 weeks now, just a rough 6 weeks.. Lol. Down 38lbs now which is exciting. I still wouldn't change it for anything. Bring it on is what I say, ha. Thanks for the encouraging words, you guys are awesome in my book.
  8. Okay, here's my update. I had an infection in my staple line, a severe stomach virus and dehydration. I guess with as little as our stomachs are, Viruses impact us worse. I still have diarrhea and nausea but no vomiting. I was put back on Clear liquids due to my staple line getting an infection. I am on my way home though after being in the hospital for 5 days I am pretty excited about that. They put me on Benzyl, phenergan, Lortab and Benadryl. On Benadryl because I some how just became allergic to medical tape. Hey On a good note, i lost 7lbs though because I pooped it out, lol.. Yay!!!
  9. Thanks ladies, they had to post pone my upper GI because of how bad I reacted to the radioactive contrast from the HIDA. I hope they find the issue in the morning. I will be sure to keep you all updated.
  10. Well things are getting worse. I am now NPO since Last night. I can't eat or drink.. They are confused at this point. They thought it was one thing but it seems to be 10 others. I can't stop Vomiting or having diarrhea which is crazy since I haven't eaten since Sunday. They have to keep me doped up.. Ugh, I just want them to fix this. Fingers crossed that they find what else is wrong.
  11. I have to stay lol, I am full of Dilaudid so that has me pretty chipper.. Ha
  12. Thanks ladies Thumbs up to you, ha.
  13. Thanks hun. Doc just came back in, My staple line is inflamed and my gallbladder is going out. They are going to see what they can do in the morning.
  14. So I am 6 weeks post op today and started having serious abdominal pain that was radiating pain to my chest and back. I am Very nauseous and started vomiting yellow bile because I can't eat anything. I went to the ER last night and everything checked out fine. They gave me a shot of Levsin to reduce the spasms in my stomach. I was fine when I went home but I guess being doped up with Dilaudid helps with that. They sent me home and diagnosed me with "unknown abdominal pain". I woke up at 6am and it was all back! Yay, but lets add yellow diarrhea to the description. I called my sleeve doctor and he made me drive an 1hr 1/2 to see him at there Emergency room. So I get to start this all over once again. I just wanted to vent..Ugh.
  15. DOS- 275lbs 2/11/2013 CW- 241lbs GW for 6/1- 210lbs. Fingers crossed that we all reach our goal!
  16. 33lbs down since February 11th. Started out at 275lbs and I am now 242lbs at 5' 7
  17. It happens, I just now got out of my two week stall. I was sleeved on 2/11. The scale will move again. Mine has moved pretty fast since yesterday, 3lbs down! I bet it will start moving any day now
  18. I started actually feeling full 2 weeks ago and I am 5 weeks out.
  19. Well my surgeon and dietician cleared soft foods such as lean meats at 2 weeks as well. Every doctor is different so don't let anyone tell you that you can't eat a meatball 2 weeks out. If your stomach can stand it then it is yours to eat. I ate my first piece of chicken 2 weeks out and a meatball 3.. It's all about what your body can take at this point. I eat any protein now at 5 weeks. The only things I can't eat are raw veggies, breads and pastas at this point. My salad will be in 3 more weeks which is very exciting!
  20. Patron, lime, salt... Yum. My doc told me 3 months! I am only 5 weeks out and miss drinking. Probably a good thing because I got a little wild for over a year there and getting drunk almost every weekend. Boy that dipped in my wallet considering I would only drink Patron or Jäger. Mostly Patron!
  21. I feel ya girl, I haven't tried any of my old favorite foods yet. Pizza is most definitely it but I am scared to try it cause I don't want to like it. My biggest craving is a salad! I want a salad sooo bad and I won't be able to have one until I hit 2 months. Sucks!
  22. Anyway, I believe everything was expressed with OP and 3 or 4 individuals... Maybe this thread needs to take a Xanax and calm down.
