  1. Great job!! You look fantastic!
  2. I have had issues with GERD also. But I noticed when I ate healthy foods, my heartburn was much much better. When I would gain weight and eat crappy foods, my heartburn was horrible. I'm 3 weeks post op and I'm very happy to say that my GERD is more under control now than prior to surgery. I do take Prilosec almost daily, but that's something I don't mind taking. I think in the next six months I may not have to take the Prilosec. I'm very thankful I chose the sleeve. Good luck making your decision!!!
  3. You look great!!! Awesome job!!
  4. I just flew Spirit and did NOT need an extender. I thought I would have to but I fit!
  5. I was nervous telling my PCP. But she was thrilled for me! She will do all my follow up care.
  6. Welcome!! Good Luck on your surgery!
  7. My husband and I had our surgery the same day in TJ Mexico. We paid $7600 for both of us and $800 for the airfare.
  8. I was told several years ago that I wouldn't be able to have anymore children. I was fine with that, I had 2 daughters and wasn't planning to have anymore... Well I started loosing weight, trying to get healthy. Without even trying, I got pregnant. My son will be 2 on Friday. He was a surprise, but we are so blessed to have him. If I hadn't lost weight, I know he wouldn't be here. Unfortunately during and after my pregnancy I pigged out, and regained the weight. Now I'm sleeved and looking forward to my life with my husband and three kids! She is lucky to have your help and knowledge. I'm sure she will do great!
  9. I love my decaf w the sf creamers!! Mr Dr allows that in the full liquid stage. Good luck!
  10. My period was also late before my surgery. About 2 weeks late. Mine started the day after surgery. I had elbow surgery in 1999 and started my period the morning of surgery also. I think there is a good chance you may start right before or after surgery. It's not fun, but it's common. Good luck on your surgery, keep us posted!
  11. You look great!!! Congrats on your success.

  19. I'm not sure, I would say try a bite and see how you feel. I'm looking forward to eating Special K Protein plus cereal! It has less carbs and extra protein. Yummy! Good luck.
