  17. I don't really think its a sign. I had 2 very large DVT's about 6 years ago. My calf was very swollen, red, and the pain was horrible. If I was laying down, the pain would ease, but as soon as I sat or stood, the pain was almost unbearable. Feel your calf for any warm spots. Measure your calf and compare those measurements to your other calf. If you have warm, red spots, and sweeping, go to your ER. If not, I would suggest following up with your Dr. I hope you don't have any DVT'S, good luck! Keep us posted!
