  1. Sending baby vibes your way! I really hope you find happiness and peace no matter what the outcome is.
  2. What are these Quest bars I keep hearing about? Do you have order them or do they sell them at the store?
  3. Oh man, I'm ecstatic about my loss. Shopping is actually fun, I can run up the stairs without gasping for air, I take up leass space, I'm not sweating 24/7, I can get up from the floor like nothing .....I just want to see myself smaller!!! LOL
  4. Look at that skinny hand!!! And beautiful ring! Congratulations!
  5. It's madness! My brother has lost over 100 pounds and he says he still sees himself as he did at 300+. He's 6'5 and like 215 now. Before I lost weight, I was like how is that even possible?!?! Now I get it. Another weird NSV, I was leaning up against a wall and it felt like I was leaning on a light switch or something. It was my shoulder blade! Haha!!!
  6. What a moron! Good for you for loving yourself enough to not take that crap!
  7. My mother-in-law gave us a box of photos to look at. There were some of me 6 years ago....before kids....I couldn't believe I looked like that! I never saw myself that big either.
  8. Ok, so I needed new jeans because I had two pairs of 16s. One was too baggy in the thighs and the other too tight on the butt. I picked up a pair of 16 capris and just for fun a pair of 14s. I looked at those 14s and thought no way they'd even come over my thighs! Well they did! Then thought no way I'd be able to button them! I did! I left with a size 14 capri. I've gone from a tight 22 to a 14 in 7 1/2 months. I remember being a 16 in junior high don't remember ever being a 14! Why don't I see myself so much smaller than I've ever been?!? Just one and a half more points and I will no longer be at an obese BMI. I started at 44!
  9. Good point! I have a client who lost a lot of weight due to illness. When I saw her, I was so excited and told her how great she looked! When she explained how she lost weight it was uncomfortable and I felt bad.
  10. Mine to but I'm not sure what's causing it. I had a csection in September, wls in November and an IUD put in in January! I PMS for a full week before my period. I'm 8 months out on July 3rd and my actual period is finally getting normal, it's just the PMSing that's horrible - cramping, hunger, cranky and exhausted!
  11. I take a probiotic everyday. Keeps me regular.
  12. Scam, scam, and SCAM! No reason to fall for that crap anymore!
  13. Yes! It happened to me. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long. My hair and nails are crap now! LOL. Small price to pay in my opinion.
  14. That is so sweet and congratulations! It reminds me of my dad. He is my biggest cheerleader!
  15. How much weight have you lost so far? I don't even know how to calculate a stall because I've never consistently lost weight every day. It seems like I stay the same for a few weeks then bam down 5 pounds over night. I'm almost 8 months out and down 85 pounds. What's helped me is I just don't stress. For the most part I eat clean with a few treats every now and then. I exercise 5-6 days a week except for the past week and a half because I had my gallbladder removed. I don't care about the number on the scale. Really, I don't! I feel amazing and I'm living normal. My goal is to be healthy and that's what I'm focusing on. Not scale numbers or calorie counting and all has been smooth sailing for me. Living off of 600-1000 calories, no carbs, sugar or fat forever isn't realistic for me. But cutting out processed food, sodas, and mostly cooking at home is. This is what's working for me. I hope you find what works for you! Good luck!
  16. Yes! There's a market close by that makes them in the store! I can eat a little less than half a pita with garlic mayo, spring mix, roasted red bell pepper, olives, and feta. So delicious!
  17. Bahaha ok ok stand down! I don't care either way. It just seems to bother a few people lately. Just giving a suggestion. If I have a private woman question I ask my girlfriends or doc LOL!
  18. I think the gender forums should be private because usually if you start a topic in there, it's gender specific and maybe embarrassing to have the other gender read. As for a unisex forum, every other subforum is unisex!
  19. I got down to my lowest adult weight for my wedding. I felt great! But soon gained it all nack and then some. It's crazy now I'm 30 pounds lighter than my wedding day! Woohoo!
  20. I suggest not weighing yourself for a few weeks. When I started working out it took 3 weeks for the scale to move. Exercising is so worth it though because my body looks much better. Less flabby and more toned. Keep it up! Good luck!
  21. It took me 3 weeks to feel somewhat normal. I was OK going back to work then. Everyone is different. Give yourself time.
  22. Really? Everyone likes Port? I've only tried it once and it was disgusting! I'm willing to give it another shot. Which one is good?
  23. What about using a straw stretches out the sleeve?
