  1. Ok.... As a cosmetologist AND esthetician, I wax clients all day, everyday. We really don't focus on looking and the appearance of the nether regions. We do like to insure we are not waxing over any moles. BLUE wax is key and a personal preference for myself when waxing others, it's not as harsh as others. Any esthetician using honey wax on your nether regions should lose her license. (Sorry if that offends) Tylenol a good 30 mins before will help alleviate some pain. She may or may not ask you to hold specific areas, but that is to insure the skin is pulled taut in that area and to reduce the pain of pulling the strip off. Hope this helps! You will be truly happier with a wax!
  2. Scheduled for 1-11-13 in Mexico, as well. Good luck!

  6. Girl....you look amazing! I hope to be as successful as you. Thanks for posting!
  7. I'm going January 11 with the same doctor you are. I'm more likely to go a couple of days early to enjoy it then for surgery. I thought you were headed in September? changed to December? Maybe I read that wrong on one of your posts we were both commenting on. You can do it....set your mind to it and make it happen for yourself. You deserve it!
  8. Good luck to both of you! Wishing you both a speedy recovery and keep us posted.
  9. Goes to show how different we all are, lol. I tried them and hated them, also. I really wanted to like them, just for the name alone. That mocha mint sounded like, in my head, mint chocolate chip....nope. Birthday cake? Not one I've tasted. Bleh. I have found most of the ones I do like, lot of people on here do not.
  10. Congratulations, what an amazing feeling!
  11. Congratulations! Everything will be spectacular.
  12. I "unsubscribed" to both of those. Lol
  13. My doctor also!a huge relief so I know how you feel. I did an EKG yeSterday as well as a chest X-ray and my labs. Good luck!
  14. I am lower BMI and headed to Mexico. There really is no criteria or advanced testing that needs to be done, the dr you choose will do them when you get there. That being said, I have opted to get all my pre-op testing done here before I go. (Just finished yesterday!) The dr may or may not have a pre-op diet to follow, depends on the dr and/or the BMI. My PCP is completely on board and offered to do all pre-op and post-op. My recommendation is just to be diligent and thorough in your research for the dr you choose for the procedure she desires.
  15. Designer whey makes something like crystal light packets and u mix it with water for about 20 grams of protein. It's not as heavy as protein drinks and it mixes like the crystal light stuff. Just ANOTHER option for getting it all in.
