  1. Hi, I have been banded for 1 year and 3 months and I still get "stuck" if I'm not careful. It is like a sink backing up and you are without a plunger! Please do not try to drink anything it only makes it worse. If you can get it to come up -do it, if not you will just have to wait it out. I try not to get to hungry and eat little things during the day. My band likes raw foods (not lettuce). I eat mostly raw vegetables with some cooked once in a while and seem to get along really well. I'm still drinking my protein bullets to suplement. Best Wishes Motor Car Annie
  2. Hi, I am still using the whey protein just as a suppliment. I use the protein bullets with 42 grams of protein. This seems to be working well. Thanks for asking, Annie
  3. Hi Folks, I have found something that works for me, finally. It has been hard for me to loose much weight and I'm out a year now, but finally a all raw diet has come to my rescue. I eat 85% raw and 15% cooked food. I'm, I guess, a vegan!! Who would have thought at my age to change drastically how I'm eating. I have started to loose again and am full all the time. This has been a blessing to me. If anyone has any thoughts or comments please let me know. Have a blessed Easter.:wink2:
  4. Thanks Babygirl this was the way I was thinking but was just wondering if anyone had any better ideas. Thanks again, Annie
  5. I have a question!! What kind of Protein should you eat if you are trying to watch your calories? We have been told to eat 6 times a day with the major food being protein. Phew! What kind of low calorie protein do I try next.:rolleyes2: Thanks, Motor Car Annie
  6. Hi Folks, I have a question. Does anyone have trouble with "real food"? I can eat a cookie or an ice cream cone or pop corn and it goes down just fine but let me try to eat real food and it gets stuck. What am I doing wrong? Sometimes even yogurt will stick - it just depends on how my band is working on that day. What can I do about this problem? I can eat Breakfast and in about 2 to 2 1/2 hrs. later my stomach is growling. Do I eat again ( like a snack) or do I wait for the next meal? Any help will be appriciated. Thanks, Motor Car Annie :help:
  7. Hi, I have a question, but first a little about me. My band is 7 months old and I love it. I now have 1.8 cc's of saline in my band and it may be to tight. Some days I can eat a normal portion of about a cup of food and then the next day I cannot get a teaspoon of food to go down. I'm wanting to know if this is normal or do I need to seek physician help? Thanks,:help:
