what to tell, who to tell, when to tell...
No, unless others call others names it's all good. So far, we all respect what each individual wants. That.. Is a good forum discussion

Approved! But... :(
MX is a very excellent place to have this surgery. The docs are more than competent and quite frankly way more experience than here in the states.

After the first 6 - 12 monthsAre there foods that are difficult to digest after the sleeve surgery
VBG isn't quite like the lapband, but just as bad, if not worse

Pork, beef and some vegetables are harder to digest so it may take longer for your stomach to tolerate. In due time you should be able to eat most everything fine.

Absolutely correct! Isn't it awesome in MX? Best care I've ever had and I've had a lot of hospitalization. I recommend it also. Good luck and happy weight lossing, lol

IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY...THEN DON'T SAY IT.

Majority of this forum is very educational and to be honest we can learn from the cat dog fights/disagreements too. We're adults. Either join or leave. It really shouldnt bother anyone. BUT.. If you stay, wear your big peeps undies and.... Hang on

Gas and reflux post surgery
Try slowing down your eating or eating less. For awhile you will have to trial and error your ways of eating until you adjust it to what works for you

In hospital need help
Oh, and it's fairly normal not to eat the first few days. Then you get ice chips and maybe broth depending on your issues. Everything your body needs is via IV so don't worry about tht part.. Just get yourself going and ... Did I mention walking?

In hospital need help
WALK WALK WALK.. This is the only cure for the gas to dissipate. On one of my surgeries I learned the hard way and paid for it with a lot of pain and misery.

How long did you research before you booked surgery
18 months, but only because I had to wait that long for my stomach and system to heal from the lapband. I researched drs for several months and talked to at least a gazillion patients from the docs as I narrowed it down
