  1. No, unless others call others names it's all good. So far, we all respect what each individual wants. That.. Is a good forum discussion
  2. Most of its too high in carbs and the carb control stuff is yucky tasting IMO and pricey
  3. YIPPEE.... good for you! The sleeve is so much healthier
  4. Too funny ... Delta Girl! LOL almost the exact same time, too
  5. Nothing, no one, and never
  6. MX is a very excellent place to have this surgery. The docs are more than competent and quite frankly way more experience than here in the states.
  7. Pork, beef and some vegetables are harder to digest so it may take longer for your stomach to tolerate. In due time you should be able to eat most everything fine.
  8. Absolutely correct! Isn't it awesome in MX? Best care I've ever had and I've had a lot of hospitalization. I recommend it also. Good luck and happy weight lossing, lol
  9. Awesome... Stories like this are so encouraging! Great job and thank you for sharing
  10. That sucks! I pray they figure things out soon
  11. It's like with parents.. All we seem to do is talk about kids. It's what we have in common.. Our comfort zone
  12. If people want to or end up bantering back and forth, so be it. No biggy and if it bothers you don't follow it. Majority of this forum is very educational and to be honest we can learn from the cat dog fights/disagreements too. We're adults. Either join or leave. It really shouldnt bother anyone. BUT.. If you stay, wear your big peeps undies and.... Hang on
  13. Can't have popcorn so I'll get some cottage cheese and find a comfy chair
  14. I can't have salt... It makes me bloated and youza gonna hate what I say even more.
  15. I have always been cold and it's even worse now.. I hate it!
  16. LOL .. I guess it would be a benefit to have my audio on with you, PdxMan I can't while at work or then it's obvious I'm not working
  17. Try slowing down your eating or eating less. For awhile you will have to trial and error your ways of eating until you adjust it to what works for you
  18. Oh, and it's fairly normal not to eat the first few days. Then you get ice chips and maybe broth depending on your issues. Everything your body needs is via IV so don't worry about tht part.. Just get yourself going and ... Did I mention walking?
  19. WALK WALK WALK.. This is the only cure for the gas to dissipate. On one of my surgeries I learned the hard way and paid for it with a lot of pain and misery.
  20. 18 months, but only because I had to wait that long for my stomach and system to heal from the lapband. I researched drs for several months and talked to at least a gazillion patients from the docs as I narrowed it down
