  1. Yum! Is it any worse for us than MIO, crystal light, dansani etc?
  2. "no worse for wear". Not sure I can agree with that :-/
  3. It is such an amazing feeling to think you are getting a chance to take control.. I love it! The fact that's am back in control of my life has had me flying high since my surgery.
  4. I knew a little about the sleeve when I got my band, but it just seemed so much more drastic. My sorry excuse for a Cordinator at the time was a revision patient and I should have known better just from that alone. If she ditched her band why should I get it.. Well, duh! I think Christie wants something that's not permanent.. It's a scary thought to go permanent.
  5. Fairly sure "dress for success" won't want my fat jeans and super sized hoodies. I will donate to the thrift store though
  6. Hahaha.. I do this every day when I get home from work works like a charm
  7. Congrats.. That IS very exciting!
  8. Relax. The doc is there to help you the best way he believes. And don't forget.. You hired him so you're his boss, not the other way around
  9. I took my powder on my flights and any food I wanted. (in and out of MX too) As long as they can see what it is they usually don't mind. I included the the label in the bag of powder.
  10. "It has the lowest EARLY complication rate” That is the only thing they can say. It's the ONLY thing that makes it seem ok compared to the sleeve. Early complications are rare.. But what about after that? This is such a misleading thing to say. ARRGGGH!
  11. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ..F-Man! You're awesome and such an encouraging part of my journey. THANK YOU! Congrats on the new you
  12. I'm right with you. I'm 4 1/2 months out and I've had HUGE stalls. No biggy. Be patient and it will work. Stay with your healthy eating habits because this is what our new lifestyle is about. I don't do carb binges because I'm a past carbaholic and they do wicked things to my head and I refuse to fall into that trap again. I know that with time eating a healthy way is going to get me to goal. No, I didn't say I don't do an occasional treat, but I did say I'm not going off track right now just to experiment with a quick loss fix. Be patient
  13. Unless your dr requires you to wear the garment I would not wear it. Nothing should be touching your incisions .. Especially tight clothing. For the blisters, and as you can, I would keep them uncovered and let them get air.. Or at least extremely loose and light gauze/clothing? Because of the garment probably made you sweat more than normal you may have gotten a yeast infection and those don't always look infected, but need to be treated with something like lotrimin. I'm not a dr and this is only a suggestion
  14. You're so encouraging! GOOD JOB.. And glad to see you back to yak!
  15. I'm a month ahead of you and I had months with out loss, also. Just hang in there and concentrate on sticking with healthy eating and eventually lbs will sneak off. Some of us are extremely slow losers regardless of what we do.
  16. Oh what a sad little man.. And he can't even grow old gracefully. Good thing he has money 'cause he ain't got anything else
  17. Hint .. For the some who can't remember. The moose is on the loose
  18. The sleeve will not stop us from grazing. We can graze 24/7 and never feel restriction. If you think you're over eating then it's a must to track your consumption and find out if you are. If you are, you have to train yourself with healthier habits. It's hard.. I don't even get hungry and I suddenly find myself grazing without even knowing it! Don't ignore the serious signs of going back to bad habits. Face it now
  19. LOL.. Glad to help, anytime
  20. How exciting.. Good or you!
  21. I'm ain't eatin' no moth for lunch let alone 6 or more of them
  22. It happens to me, too. Usually because it's around when, what, or how I eat. Not necessarily at the time, but near.
  23. Sheesh.. You too, erp! I'm such a candidate for Clinton Kelly
  24. KellyLynn.. I'm guessing I'd look a little frumpy next to you
  25. I'm never going to Mill Creek again!
