Dr. Kelly uses coordinators now. Last I heard he is with MBC in TJ.- VSG Urban Legends
Well.... Are you getting any taller like Iggy?- VSG Urban Legends
That the sleeve is a magic wand destined to make you height/weight proportionate in and of itself.- Hi let me interduce myself
How awful for those docs/nurses try and humiliate you when you were suffering. I'm glad you got it fixed and that you're on to the next stage in your life. Best of luck on your sleeved future.- VSG Urban Legends
Are there any VSG urban legends that you can think of that you have debunked? The 1st one I can think of is: I won't feel hungry after surgery. Sure the part of our stomach that produces ghrelin is gone and our physical hunger is reduced or even eliminated... but no one can tell me that "head hunger" doesn't feel real and powerful!- What did it feel like when you woke up from surgery?
Once I confirmed I was alive, I puked. A lot. I expected it. Anesthesia makes me puke. Not much pain or gas pain.- Dr. Aceves, Mexicali, and Me!
I was blessed with a great team and a great experience. I was happy to share to help those researching because it was other VST ppl posting their detailed experiences that gave me peace of mind. There really are so many great surgeons in Mx. I know I made the best choice for me. I hope everyone's journey, no matter the surgeon, is an all around success.- My poor experience with A Lighter Me
- I've been sleeved, but many complications followed.
I must echo the thank you's posted here. It was very brave and selfless of you to share your story. It is important that those researching this surgery hear all the possible outcomes. How else can we make an informed decision? I pray your recovery continues to progress successfully and you enjoy a full life.- Looks like it's going to be Mexico after all. Need help with details!
Thank you. It worked out for the best. Along with cardiac issues I have sleep apnea.- Looks like it's going to be Mexico after all. Need help with details!
I used Dr. Aceves. His total last I saw was $8750. $500 deposit. The balance due when you arrive. It includes everything but airfare and your "last meal" the night b4 surgery.- What's on your play list?

I'm a Classic Rock junkie at heart, but lately I've been really digging Pitbull and Nelly. Usher and Will Smith. I just want to shake my hips and bootie!- What's on your play list?
- Nosey folks!
I think that is vaguely honest enough.- Recipe ideas for the puree stage...

I booked on Southwest's site directly. Very reasonable. Like previously mentioned, try and book 3 or more weeks in advance. The closer it gets to your departure date, the higher the rates.- Looks like it's going to be Mexico after all. Need help with details!
Correct. Southwest is reasonable.- help! wedding! alcohol!
Blah, blah, blah. No one attacked anyone. No one attempted to interfere with anyone's rights. No one judged anyone. Suggestions were offered, at her request. If someone doesn't want suggestions, don't post it publicly. If you're old enough to drink then you should be old enough to handle various feedback and make your own decision... Without whining about the opinions you don't like. Sheesh. - Dr. Kelly No Longer Working With Alightme- Safety Concerns Or Simply Business Issues?
