  1. Once in Mexicali I didn't need much. I wouldn't have needed my
  2. I threw up as soon I awoke in recovery. Anesthesia does that to me. It was about as fun as throwing up can be... Not at all!
  3. The blue dye test was pretty foul. The barium swallow wasn't pleasant in comparison.
  4. So how are the latest Aceves Sleevers doing?
  5. My favorite response to people when they're being asinine is almost always the same: I'm sorry you feel that way. Nothing pisses people off more when you refuse to take their bait.

  9. Today is a better day. I'm not going to beat myself up about it. I'm soothing my abused stomach with warm decaf green tea and taking it easy. Thank you!
  10. Thank you so much. I'm setting my brain at, "it's not a problem, its an opportunity." I am human, a work on progress.
  11. All I know is yesterday was an all around rough day and I've learned my lesson!
  12. Thank you. Love you too... I really appreciate that.
  13. I'm an Ohioan too. I went to Dr. Aceves in March and it was beyond excellent. My PCP does my follow up. My insurance excludes WLS. It's a gamble for sure but I don't regret my decision.
  14. Today is a trifecta screw up day. I'm not proud.
  15. I hope to hear soon about your recovery and overall experience. Dr. Aceves and staff are a great team.
