Leaving for Mexicali Tomorrow, Am I Missing Anything?

I'm all packed to leave for my Surgery with Dr. Aceves, I'm a frequent traveler but I'm so excited I'm worried I might have forgotten something. Aside from the obvious passport, ticket, credit cards and phone charger, does it sound like I'm missing anything?

I've packed:

-gas x strips

-four different kinds of lip balm/chapstick (I've heard it's necessary and I like options!

-toiletries

-two pairs of shorts, two tops

-a pair of pjs

-undergarments

-a book

-headphones

I'm there until Friday and I'm attempting to pack light.

Good luck an nice trip

Some people take a heating pad to help with the gas pains. Also, have you thought about some individual packets of crystal light, or Protein powder like the nectar brand that can be mixed with Water for your return flight home? And last thing is some folks take a small pillow to press against their stomachs while traveling home.

Good luck to you! I hope to find you and say hello when I get there on Thursday! If you find you've forgotten something and need me to bring you something, shoot me a message (I don't leave until Thursday morning). I don't mind at all!

Thanks so much! If I find I've forgotten something I'll definitely let you know! I've just packed some of the lemon tea nectar thanks for the suggestion!

Hope to see you Thursday!

Once in Mexicali I didn't need much. I wouldn't have needed my powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury broth if not for the blizzard in Denver.

I wouldn't have needed it if not for that.

Dr. Aceves and team are great. I wish you all a great experience!

I didn't want to start a whole new thread, but I just wanted to let everyone know that my surgery went amazingly well. Everything I researched about Dr. Aceves was accurate. He was amazing, the staff at Almater is fantastic. I did a really detailed post on my blog if anyone is interested on how it went. Down 17.2 lbs since last Tuesday, and I know it's kind of early to say but it's easily the smartest decision I've ever made.

Thanks for all your support!
