  1. I can mess with your head for sure. I'm opting to pass on those Snacks. It's just not worth it. I'm an addict and food is my drug of choice. Btw, how's the fast going?
  2. Fighting the good fight and will not succumb! Sigh...
  3. Ugh... Something tells me these will slide effortlessly and I won't stop at one.
  4. I had my Unjury chicken broth powder.
  5. I'm a bit intimidated by running but I want to do it. My 12 year old daughter will be joining me. I'd like to do the Breast Cancer awareness next year. I'm open to suggestions.
  6. Y'all are getting to me. In a good way! I've downloaded the app and I'm starting this weekend. I'm excited and even a bit nervous!
  7. Here is my play by play account. http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/74149-dr-aceves-mexicali-and-me/ My mom was one of the biggest naysayers about Mx WLS and she is the first to sing the praises of Dr. Aceves and crew. Good luck to you.
  8. Idk if I'm a huge fan of this. It could be interpreted as telling Mexi-Sleevers they don't belong with the majority. Tell your VSG story applies no matter where you go, right? And if you have one big thread, like Dr. Ponce's things get lost. I like reading individual stories. They saved my sanity while researching. And I am typically a big fan of, "a place for everything, and everything in its place." I do like the idea of expanding the Self Pay/Mx forum to include ways to categorize things if people so choose. Such as surgery location hotspots; TJ, Mexicali, PV, Cancun, etc...
  9. I had a mini-vaca in LA b4 surgery while on my preop. The vaca it self was fine but the watching ppl eat while I was shakes and salads SUCKED! Ruined my mood and made me a cranky gal!
  10. Shall we follow a suggestion given on another thread not that long ago? Lets call it quits on this thread, shall we?
  11. I feel pressure in my lower chest. Gaggy. Mouth full of extra saliva. Burps feel like there may be more to them than just gas.
  12. I have my moments... Of making sense. :-D
  13. Well I look forward to reading your journey. Best of luck!
  14. I apologize as well. I don't live in a glass house but I have glass windows. I shouldn't be throwing stones. Time to break the cycle and lead by example.
  15. Bummer that. AirTran is affiliated with Southwest. Idk if they're an option. Would it be possible to get a hotel stateside for the night l so you have more departure flexibility?
  16. Try Southwest. I flew home through them and I like their flight schedules. 3 hour flight. 1 hour layover which makes good walking/stretching. Three hour flight to home. Not counting my heart issues and Denver blizzard!
  17. Congrats on your success! You look fabulously healthy! I'm looking forward to posting split photos when I lose more weight.
  18. I'm not pointing any fingers at others, only myself. In hindsight I wish I had represented myself better.
  19. I'd like to think the negative is more the exception than the rule, however, it does stand out more. Stick around. There is a lot of support here and more often than not we are a great group. We're human. Flawed. Works in progress inside and out.
