  1. Dr. Aceves is fabulous. Absolutely fabulous. :-)
  2. I cannot bring myself to weigh in daily. It would become an obsession for me. A bad one. I try and weigh in every two weeks. Occasional every week.
  3. Don't I know it! I'm mASSive. HIPpopotamus. Thunderous thighs.
  4. Dr. Aceves in Mexicali. I flew into LAX for vaca and drove down to San Diego the day before pick up and was picked up at SAN. I flew out of San Diego. It was seamless and Dr. Aceves is fabulous.
  5. It's a big deal, you being comfortable with your WLS choice. 100%. I was set to go with one particular surgeon but couldn't get over my anxiety. I switched and had an amazingly great experience and as soon as I switched I felt better. I'm not saying switch or don't switch. I'm saying go with your gut.
  6. I have a LB tankini that has an underwire top and i got too fat for it. I'm hoping I will have shrunk into it. Hopefully it will be more flattering.
  7. I put my swimsuit on yesterday. Back in March while I was in California and Mexico it was super snug. I had to wiggle my way in and out. Yesterday it was loose and baggy. Extra baggy up top. :-( It frustrates me that many plus sized swimsuits are designed assuming the plus sized woman has a large bust. I just don't. And what little I have is disappearing with every pound. I was pleased at the apparent weight loss but saddened by just how unfeminine I felt in my swimsuit.
  8. We give society and other people's opinions too much power.
  9. I had my surgery in Mx and they used tequila..... :-P Just kidding. I believe it was general anesthesia via IV.
  10. I was looking for that. Thanx!
  11. Browse through your preop photos. That would totally inspire me to avoid food. I'm mostly tempted to graze at work. Cannot escape work at will so I'm stuck thinking of food.
  12. Hot decaf green tea goes down really easy for me. I add Splenda with Fiber.
  13. Luigi's no sugar added Italian Ice is sweetened with Splenda. I much prefer it over aspartame.
  14. Hey Canada! How're you doing with your new and improved sleeve?
  15. I'm afraid to try on smaller sizes. Even though my clothes are bagging and falling off it scares me so much to try a smaller size.
