  1. They did search my luggage coming in. They just kinda peeked in and moved a couple things. No real big deal.
  2. Drank my blue drink without any problems. Went downstairs for my X-ray leak test and passed with flying colors. They pulled my drain. And will be releasing me early this afternoon. I'll stay the night in the hotel Lucerna then fly home in the morning!!! Woo hoo!!
  3. It was great to meet you too!! They got me ice chips and I felt pretty darn good until this afternoon and now having some pretty bad pain again. Can't wait to get this drain out and be heading back to Texas too!! Hope you have safe travels tomorrow! Keep in touch!!
  4. Feeling a little better today. Got my bandages off and got to take a hot shower! Felt so good! Hopefully they will be bringing me my ice chips soon! Thanks Paula for sneaking out last night and coming to see me! Hope you didn't get into trouble!
  5. It's been a pretty ruff afternoon. Finally haves pain and nausea pretty much under control. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I've really been trying to walk. I'm in 308.
  6. Got my pretty panty hose. Now I'm ready to roll!!
  7. I'm today too! In just a few hours I will be post sleeved! Ready to get this over with and start living!! Good luck everyone!! I'll be praying for all of us!!
  8. Thanks everyone for all the support! Surgery will be in a couple of hours. Didn't really sleep very well. Very anxious and wound up. Hopefully this day will fly by!!

  10. Well, so far everything has been smooth sailing. Carlos the driver picked me up at the airport and trish was waiting to greet me at INT. everyone is super nice. The nurse got my IV on the first stick! And I'm a hard stick!! Met the cardiologist and had my EKG. Met dr ponce and he answered all my questions. I'll be his first case in the morning!! Hope I can sleep!!

  12. Well, I'm sitting at the airport waiting for my plane. Headed to San Diego, then Tijuana for surgery tomorrow with dr ponce!! Super excited!!

  16. What a great thread!! I am preop. Heighest weight 255. Current weight 220. Scheduled For surgery 9-27-12. One more week!! Yea!! So I'm not really sure how much to expect to loose but I would LOVE to be 180 by the new year!!
  17. From what I have been told, yes you can. I'm going to be sure to talk to my tax guy when I file this year.
  18. Tylenol pm has benedryl in it to make you sleepy. Benedryl is on the approved list for post. So I would say ok.
  19. An ivc filter is a small filter they place in the big blood vessel in your belly to prevent blood clots from your legs moving up to your heart and lungs. Usually they are used in patients with high risk of clotting.
