    Lighten up a little...

Honestly some individuals on this forum really make me laugh! People come here to ask for advice or to just get things off of their chests we are all different I understand if someone wants advice you have to give your honest opinion but really does it have to be so judgemental?!?! I'm nearly 3months out and down nearly 4st and for 90 per cent of the time am very good with my food choices but if I do have something that isn't very nutritionally balanced then I eat it without a guilty conscience we are only human after all and it happens :-)

No by say week 6 you should be on to a normal diet there were a few things that I couldn't eat or would sit uncomfy but then the next week it would be fine it's just trial n error n also the first few months your still healing n swollen inside have you got to go on a Pre op diet?

Any New Uk Sleevers Out There?

At 10 weeks out I eat breakfast which is usually ready brek or Special K then might have a muller light yoghurt mid morning for lunch i might have a piece of toast n a poached egg or soup then mid afternoon maybe a slimfast or a babybel then dinner is whatever everyone else is having but a smaller portion It is a very life changing thing to happen but it does get a lot easier say from when ur one week out to me now is like wow it's gone so quick and you feel better everyday as the weight melts off also when I got to week 3 my weight stayed the same for about a week which was annoying as your hardly taking in any calories but after that stall you start to lose again

Any New Uk Sleevers Out There?

I use centrum chewable multi vitamin and I have slimfast shakes but I don't really drink many now as when I did when I first had the op In my opinion it is definitely worth it as no way would I have been able to lose the amount of weight I have lost doing my own thing it is definitely a learning curve on eating and eating the right things I have a saucer sized plate that I have my dinner on and sometimes don't finish all my meal I do still feel hunger which can be an issue sometimes but if I eat the right things protein etc n drink plenty then I don't feel as hungry

The first couple of weeks it takes ages just to drink your protein drinks but gets a lot easier but takes some getting used to! I try n drink as much as possible as the other day I felt awful think I was dehydrated but once i increased my fluid intake felt much better once Iv eaten I normally wait 20mins then have a drink I take a multi vitamin n a calcium chewable tablet everyday aswell do u have to go on a Pre op diet before surgery?

Hi I'm 4 weeks out this Wednesday and have lost a total of 22lbs! Have been in a stall for the past 2 weeks but my dietician assured me this is very common and is just your body readjusting I had awful heartburn first thing in the morning and last thing at night was horrendous I am taking lanoprizole tabs and my surgeon has upped them to two tabs one in the morning and one in the evening and have had no heartburn whatsoever it's great! Lol I'm from the UK by the way :-) xx
