  1. I will do more reading. Thank you for your advice.
  2. Jane, I have been following your story. Thank you for sharing it. I have so much admiration for you. I have to say I'm on the fence on whether or not to have plastics. My stats are very similar to yours. I'm a teacher and I teach summer school in June so I would basically have July to have surgery and recover. I'm unsure whether I have it in me to go through a tough recovery. I'm not sure whether I will feel well enough to teach young children after that. Any advice?
  3. We don't have a Chik-fil-A or Boston Market anywhere close.
  4. I order a grilled chicken sandwich and eat the chicken only. I usually only eat 1/2 before I am full.
  5. I love chips! I know that I can't have them in the house at all. If my hubby or boys(18 & 20) want them they have to hide them and keep them out of my sight.
  6. My doctor allows soda in moderation as long my sleeve can tolerate it. I didn't have any for the first 9 months. Now at a year out I will have one once in awhile. I prefer the fountain soda as it seems to have less carbonation.
  7. I tried it using sugar free cheesecake flavored pudding. It was also delicious.
  8. Hope you feel better.
  9. This looks easy enough for me to make
  10. Thank you for the suggestion. Sometimes I crave salty and crunchy!
  11. I stopped taking Metformin the day before surgery and haven't taken it since. I'm one year out. I do still take my spironolactone. I could stop taking it and may after my next dr visit.
  12. Great to hear you're doing well! Can't wait to hear more.
  13. OMG! That looks delicious!
  14. Sounds like it's worth a try. I'm going to try it!
  15. I'm still on the fence on whether to get my plastics done in Mexico or here in the states. I'll be looking for your updates. Wishing you an easy and speedy recovery!
  16. I agree that the weight loss is well worth the hair loss.
  17. I have heard that the hair loss slows over time. I'm a year out and mine is still falling out by the handfuls. I take vitamins and drink protein. I haven't tried biotin. I will look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.
  18. Great job Lissa! That is a super loss!
  19. Thank you for the info.
  20. I've lost 93 lbs. I would like to lose 3 more but that is not happening.
  21. How many calories is in your pumpkin shake?
  22. I'm going to try this tonight. Thank you!
  23. New grandmother you have been an inspiration to me for the past year. Look at where we were at a year ago! We have come so far. Don't get down on yourself. We just have to keep doing what we have been and it will come off. Keep up the good work!
