Great job! I hope I can do as well as you in three months, my surgery is scheduled in Feb. next year...counting the days!

Driving To San D? Support Person? Passport?
A passport card is sufficient for border crossing...if you were flying across the border, you would need the full fledged book. At least that is what they told me when I applied for my passport card at my local post office.

Shake Recipes ***extensive List!***
I wonder if they are Vi-Shake products, as that is what the recipes are originally based on. Maybe try small amounts of sugar free jello or pudding mixes, or sugar free coffee flavorings?

Is 65 Lbs A Good Hunk Of Weight To Be Down At 5 Months?
ummmmm....YEAH!!

First Spin Class...nervous
I agree with Chad...most trouble I had on my home spin bike was being able to set on the seat! You can always go your own pace like others have said...don't worry about what you look like, no one is an expert or perfect when they first start out anything new! You'll have fun, getting those legs pumping feels good once you're "in the groove"

February Sleevers?

What Does Goal Look Like For You?
Im at 219 right now (5'1) and while I have set a final goal of 130 lbs, I think I will be happy just to get down to 175. I remember when I was that weight, felt good, and remember that was the one and only weight I seemed to get compliments at. I wore a size 13...now that i look at the numbers it seems like maybe surgery might be too drastic for 45 lbs, but i've never lost more than 30 lbs, and always gained it back. I maintain at my current weight, have for the last 10 years. Just sucks that I can't maintain my losses

Finally, I Decided To Post A Picture After 5 1/2 Months.
OMG!! I just looked at this as I'm spooning pumpkin pie into my face (surgery scheduled in Feb) and suddenly that pie doesn't seem quite so alluring. You've done AWESOME!!

What Was The First Thing You Ate When Advanced To Puree?
LMAO!! Sorry to laugh at your predicament...but if you had "Taco hell" you most assuredly will have a bowel movement!! Hope things are going smoothly for you! (pun intended)

Can I Ever Have A Diet Soda Again?
I'm fighting the same battle...I'm not a coffee drinker so first thing in the morning I'm reaching for my cold, bubbly diet pepsi, and grimacing at the burn with the first gulp! I know how bad it is for me, but don't want to give it up yet. I've gotten myself down to 1-2 a day (down from 3-4) and hope to be completely away from it by my surgery in February!

Clots And Flying, Great Idea!

Protein Shake Container Question
freezer bags and ice? If you keep them in the blender cup ( not sure how much it will hold) just fill a couple of sandwhich size bags with ice, put your shake cup in a gallon size bag, surround it with the smaller bags of ice and seal. You could re-use the bags too

Day 5 Post Op Thanksgiving Meal
You got all that in THAT!! How awesome...did it taste okay? LOL I'm still pre-sleeve but I have to admit, the puree stage scares me a little, I may just stay on full liquids until it's time to try soft foods.

Friends Could Be So Negative!
I know the feeling..I have one friend (also my sisterinlaw) that I hesitated to tell because she likes to inform everybody and their brother about my business afterward. I felt guilty for not including her, after all, I call her sister so I told her a few weeks ago. Since then, it's been nothing but gloom and doom and did I see this or that in the news (all bad stuff she thinks will happen to me)??? I wish I wouldn't have told her now..
