  7. @ mom2five & amandatx I have went back & forth as well - I read too much stuff & then start thinking too much but Ik in my heart of hearts I'm make'n the right decision & like mom2five I'm 5' 1/2 & when I started the whole process was 242, have never been this awful feeling - you know be'n short & have'n extra so ik how you feel... No one has said not to do it to me but their like are you sure... It helps b/c @ my job Ik a woman who did it a year ago & she says she would do it over again if she had to... She always tells me when I say what if - she'll say everyone is different & you will be fone Sent from my iPhone using VST

  10. Oh wow, well I think the worse thing I fear is getting to that point when I can eat normal food again & since some complain of it hurting that's what I'm worried about... My fav food is shrimp which I was told was good b/c that's something that goes down easy... Worried about getting my Protein right after surgery though - don't want any of my hair falling out Sent from my iPhone using VST

  12. This is before surgery, I have been doin Atkins Advantage shakes & lots of water & I had called the nurse & let her know I was starving & she said I could have carrots - when is your surgery?? Sent from my iPhone using VST

I'm on day 5 of liquid diet but the nurse said I could nibble on carrots so I have steamed some here & there but I have ate no other food but I'm sure everyone does cheat a little b/c liquid for 2 weeks pre-op is hard when your use to eating when & what you want... My surgery is next Wed & it's been hard but so far I think I can make it to next week...

I am the same way - mine is scheduled for next Wed @ 7:30 am some days I'm excited & other days I'm like what am I getting myself into, you read stories & you start to wonder but then I bring myself back to reality, everyone's experience is their experience - I will have my own - everyones body is different & will react differently... Right now I'm day 5 liquid diet & i already can't wait for the day I can't actually eat something other then a little piece of carrots & shakes & water
