For those who are having a hard time finding Protein u can stand. I was one of those who tried everyone of those I could find at the Vitamin shoppe. And they were nasty. I finally found one that is good. It is the nectar chocolate truffle 1 scoop has 23 gms add no sugar carnation instant Breakfast powder which has 6 gm in chocolate flavor. Put I bottle of Water in a blender cup. shake it well. And some ice cubes and it is yuuum. U cannot even taste the Protein I promise. That also satisfiies ur Water intake

Hi. I am 6days post surgery and I have gone through the regrets, needing to chew something. Even a silly graham cracker. I can't stand the smell and taste of crystal light any more. And if I smell another strawberry Protein Shake I will gag. I cried last night wondering what the hell I did to myself. I had the chunky feel when I was swallowing. Thank God not any more. I know I am not getting enough Water and Protein. But it has been so hard to get anything down. This forum is so helpful. Reading through everyone's struggles and triumphs knowing there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck new friends

Mine is 9/19/2012 tomorrow...my liquid diet was that bad, I lost 13 lbs already on the liquid diet. They gave me a a patch for nausea to put tonight, my surgery is 9am tomorrow. wish me luck...I will keep you posted, good luck to all my fellow sleevers
