  1. What does that mean? I've read that on here often. Where people 'develop a restriction.' What about 'stricture?' Thanks!!
  2. It's an excellent grocery chain here in Texas.
  3. Hmmm....that's not really often enough. Try adding Miralax. I'm at 3 months and I go every other day. You could also try adding fiber chewables. They are everywhere. Are you drinking enough water?
  4. Just beautiful!! When did your journey start? You look really cute as you are now. How much more to goal?
  5. You look great!! As a side note, i just had my hair done today. It's like yours but i have bangs. I'm at 11 weeks and my hair is falling out. She showed me that having a straight part will show more of the bald spots. Instead, Criss cross your hair over the part so it looks like a zig zag pattern, not a straight line. It really works!! And have long layers so the hair doesn't lay heavy on the scalp.
  6. That's great! And what a handsome fellow you are!! I'm glad you've got good friends to hang out with.
  7. What is it? Can you take a side pic? Thanks!
  8. Has anyone eating foods from this place? Thanks!
  9. Thanks Delta-girl! I love that Whole Foods idea. Very clever.
  10. Yep! Mine is starting to fall out like crazy. I see some bald spots. I'm heading to my hairdresser right now. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. I'm blonde w long shoulder length hair. Might just chop it all off bcs these long strands all over the place are really annoying.
  11. As usual, Cheri, your posts are informative and very thoughtful. Thank you for sharing your experience. I am in total agreement that we should have the 'real' thing. Our bodies benefit from that much more than the fat free items. I am learning to enjoy & savor tiny bites of 'real' food. It's a hard internal battle because the 'fat free' craze is really ingrained in me. Again, thank you. Judy
  12. My husband and I volunteer to feed the soldiers. It will be my secret that I am extra thankful this year to be away from the food temptations. :-) We haven't figured out Christmas yet....
  13. At first I couldn't eat it, but now at almost 4 months out I can. Just need to remember to chew, chew, chew and enjoy. :-)
  14. I quoted the wrong post. Sorry! I'm curious abt the bariware.
  15. I was sleeved 8/21. Couldn't eat shrimp until last week. Those who are watching their fat intake shouldn't do this, but I LOVED IT: At whole foods I bought a roll of scampi butter. I added half the roll to one bag of defrosted & cleaned raw Costco shrimp. You can cook it in the microwave, stove or BBQ. We use IronLodge skillets for the BBQ so we don't heat up the house w cooking. Just cook till shrimp is pink. This fed my husband for one meal and i had leftovers all week. The butter kept the shrimp from getting too rubbery.
  16. I love liverwurst. BUT i've been reading that bcs liver is the 'cleaning' organ, that liver is one of the most unhealthiest meats to eat. Myth or true?
  17. Muffin- also, if you are working out 2x a day, it cld be you are gaining a lot of muscle? I've also read on here that you can work out TOO much. Try posting in the exercise forum and see what they say.
  18. Try dropping it below 20 for a few days and see what happens. Also, eat one meal a day w no carbs at all. If these tricks don't work, then I'd look at your birth control. Good luck!
  19. Shuga, I have a huge c-sec scar. From my belly button all the way down. (A 10.9 oz baby in distress so it was an emergency c-sec.) It didn't affect my WLS. All the work for WLS is done above the belly button line, so you should be ok.
  20. Wow! Thanks everyone for your answers! Very helpful. I'll start with looking into the TEAM program at LF and go from there. You guys rock!
  21. I belong to Lifetime Fitness and plan to get back into swimming in 2 more weeks. Still need my gall bladder incisions to heal. Can anyone who has a trainer give me a price estimate? I'm trying to decide if its worth it or just stick to swimming. Thanks!
