  1. I don't see anything wrong w staying at 200 if YOU are comfortable at that weight. How tall are you? And I agree, working in a prison it's prob a good idea to not look like you can be snapped like a twig. :-)
  2. Oh good! I'm glad you asked him. For me, a pretzal wld be dangerous. I am carb sensitive and that would lead me down a carb craving. But if that's not an issue for you, that's great.
  3. Flinestone chewable complete. I tried gummies & went back to Flintstone.
  4. They really do!! I have always disliked any spicy foods, however mild. Even pepper was too much for me. I live in TX and I am definitely the odd man out in this regard. Tex-Mex is the king in this area. Well yesterday I tried a chipotle crab cake with poblano peppers. Just mildly spicy. I loved it!! Very, very odd.
  5. I THINK it has a lot to with my food intake now. No 'white foods' or starches. Keeping my carbs between 10-20 grams a day makes a huge difference. I honestly am now thinking that it contributed to my inflammation. After surgery I started to add more carbs, albeit good carbs. Well, not only did I totally stall out, i started to ache & get puffy again! It took me a week to get myself off the carbs and i've felt great ever since. So there is some connection. I've got a total of 5 auto-immune diseases so I'll prob have to go back on Enbrel eventually, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts!! Good luck!
  6. Cut up into smaller pieces & take throughout the day when you've got protein shake in ur tummy.
  7. Good for you!!! I have RA also. Was sleeved on 8/21 and have been off my RA meds (enbrel) since 8/10. I just went in yesterday to get my sed rate & RA factor checked. For some fantastic reason this surgery has put me in remission!! And that's amazing because i'm labeled as 'severe RA.' Had both knees replaced when I was in my early 40's and w/o enbrel i would have been bedridden. Congrats & I hope the sleeve does miracles for you as it has for me!
  8. We can ALWAYS count on you to be a smarta**!! :-) So what's your total loss from when you started? I don't define pre-op and post-op weight. It's ALL weight that we've lost and not put back on. Doesn't matter 'when' we did it.
  9. How much wld you say that you take in one day? A tablespoon? Thanks!
  10. And yes, it will loosen over time. Try to eat something not quite so solid next time. Whatever you ate might have been too hard to digest. I'm 11 weeks out & still can't eat chicken.
  11. I'm going to sleep now but ur welcome to PM with any questions. Good luck!
  12. Sure! My Fitness Planner is a really good program. You can use your phone or computer. Many of us are on it from here. If you aren't peeing enough and your ankles start to swell are good signs of retaining Water.
  13. I'm not understanding Amazon13's reason for why the pretzel is hurting the OP. She's postop far enough that she have a few pretzels. Yes? No? I'm confused....but what else is new!
  14. What's your carb intake? Until I dropped mine below 20grams a day I wasn't losing weight. Also at 3 weeks out you ARE in the infamous 3 week stall, but gaining 15 pounds is a bit odd. Are you retaining fluids? Are your bowel movements normal? (Yeah, no privacy on this forum! Lol)
  15. 600-1200. Carbs under 20. It's the carbs that do me in.....
  16. NooOooOoo! Kimberlycool!!! I am following your successes!! You can do this!! :-)
  17. LOL! Happy to amuse people during their sleepless nites. :-)
  18. My sleeve is empty and if i don't feed it i'll usually end up w a headache.
  19. Nothing. EVERYTHING i liked pre-sleeve I hated post-sleeve. Just now at 11 weeks can i tolerate some of the things we 'stocked up' on for postop. I would not suggesting stocking up.
  20. I agree. I watched 10 minutes of the show and never watched it again. It was so disrespectful.
  21. Sending you positive energy that all goes well.
