How In The World...vitamins On Empty Stomach :(

I am 1 week post op and I can now start taking my multi Vitamins... so I have chosen the Celebrate Bariatric Multivitamin w/Iron Chewables. How in the world am I supposed to hold this in my stomach without feeling like I'm ready to hurl!!???!? I've always heard to not take vitamins on an empty stomach... well.... I don't really have a choice when I am instructed to be on a Full liquid diet.

Any suggestions or advice out there????

Many thanks!!!

Cut up into smaller pieces & take throughout the day when you've got protein shake in ur tummy.

Take them right after you have a shake. Thats what I did. And if you don't like the after taste, save one or two sips of your shake to take as a chaser after you finish chewing up your vitamins. I still do that when I take them now. I have one in the middle of my lunch, and the other in the middle of my dinner.

Right after surgery I picked up some liquid vitamins (Centrum) and just took those. They're not the best tasting, but it was a lot better than trying to choke down a vitamin.
