  1. I was also told not to use straws because swallow air. I haven't tried one since being sleeved.
  2. I don't know of any stores here in Australia that do that. Can't they tell if its been washed a few times? I have just brought 2 simple outfits in my new size and will just wear these till I absolutely need some smaller ones. You could always eBay the hardly warn ones that are to big.
  3. Congrats! You look like someone who has never had a weight problem in her life!
  4. Wow that's awesome progress for only 3 months! Congrats!
  5. Thanks! Belize - You will get thru it! I was given medication to stop nausea and prevent vomiting early on. Can you ask your dr for something? I does get better.
  6. What about inviting them out for a coffee or a movie where there is no meal involved? It sucks that people are treating you differently, I hope you social life goes back to normal once people get used to the idea.
  7. This before pic was taken before starting the 2 week pre op diet. The second is one month after being sleeved. 12 kg or 28lbs lost
  8. This is my loss 4 weeks sleeved
  9. Have you guys seen this website? http://ilostwhat.com/ Who wants to have a go at posting what your results were and how many weeks sleeved you are?
  10. Oh I didn't think of that sorry...
  11. At least you didn't have anything with carbs! You will be fine if you stick to it from here. I cheated a little too and my dr said my liver was great
  12. I was told not to worry about the cals at this stage and just try to get the Protein in to help the body heal. I'm getting between 400 and 700 cals a day at 16 days post op. I couldn't fit more than that even if I wanted to.
  13. 14 days out and I keep awaking up on my side and getting sore because of it. I can't wait to go back to tummy sleeping again!
  14. I know I have had enough or if I am going to fast and need to slow down by burping and a tight feeling in my chest.
  15. My surgeon says he believes dumping is under reported with the sleeve and it does happen. I'm 2 weeks post op today and its happened to me once with a protein shake :/
  16. I'm glad you got lots of support She sounds jealous and not worth your time!
  17. I was defiantly eating more than ever before I started my pre op diet. You can't help but think this is your last chance to enjoy food. It's not true tho, you will still enjoy food in the future Best of luck!
  18. I'm in the same boat with kids ages 10 to 3 and my mum went and told them I was going to surgery! I guess it's for the best. I had to show them my belly and bandages so they would know to be careful around me. As for telling everyone it's very hard for kids to remember not to. It's really not anyone's business what kind of surgery you had tho.
  19. Hey, I have been feeling the same and it never occurred to me it was because I have stopped the antidepressants. I might try crushing one too. Hope your better soon!
  20. I would like to know this too
  21. Yep walking when your able should help move it and make it easier
  22. Sounds like you need a new way to de stress yourself :/ Maybe a boxing bag! Just don't be to hard on yourself and try harder tomorrow. Just wondering does the beer cause you pain since its carbonated?
  23. Yep I had diarreah too and still do 10 days post op but its getting better. My dr said he won't give anything for it because he doesn't want me going the other way and straining. Hope your feeling better soon!
  24. Cool! A good idea to pass some time, I have been looking at clothes and hair styles it's kinda boring having to rest and waiting for the weight loss lol.
  25. 10 days post op and I stupidly decided to vacuum the entire house. My tummy hurts like I did 1,000 sit ups I can only sip soluble pain killers so it takes me ages to have them. Does any one know if heat packs on the belly are allowed? My husband has time off to help with our 4 kids but I am struggling to live with his version of 'clean'.
