  1. I felt exactly the all the way up until the last minute, but now, 5 weeks later, it's truly a blessing,
  2. Thank you for sharing. Simply amazing! You have done something right! Did you have stalls? What did you do to get out of them?
  3. Oh, I feel your pain! I'm five weeks out iand in a major stall after loosing 30 total, 17 of which have been post surgery. It's so frustrating. I think I'm doing everything right, but it makes me wonder. How long do these stalls last? I have hashimotos disease also, but I'm taking my thyroid meds......
  4. My doctor told me that I need 1200 a day, especially if I'm exercising. I only do 1,000 a day, because going that high makes me nervous. But, I am also loosing slower than most...... And in a major stall.
  5. I was in the hospital two nights also and I HATE hospitals. My hubby was with me the whole time and I had a lot of visitors, so that helped. Definitely take stuff to read. Is there anyone else that can hang out with you while you are there? You will be surprised how fast time passes. You will be busy walking and trying to get your water down.
  6. I just started my sixth week and the only way I can get all my protein in is if I have protein shakes, because I can't eat enough to get it all in. I think this is pretty normal from what I've read on this website the last few months.
  7. I would love to know! Thank you!!!!
  8. How about a tatoo of your wife?
  9. I experienced this as well. From a friend who needed the surgery more than I! People are funny at times!
  10. Yes! I think I now have turrets because it seems I have no filter when I get like that! I thought it was just me! I wonder what is causing this?
  11. Yes, it is definitely good to know that I'm not alone!
  12. I am taking my b12, I'm regular, and drinking plenty of fluids. I've heard some slivers experience this for awhile and then it gets better. I'm just wondering when the "better" part comes and how long this may last.
  13. I am one month out and feeling sluggish and tired. In the beginning I had tons of energy and now this slump. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting all my fluids and protein! Doing everything right. Exercising, vitamins, you name it. Is this normal? When will I feel good again?
  14. I am about one month out. I started at 231, lost about 10 pounds before surgery, and now 30 total. I am frustrated because I'm doing everything right and the loss is slow. I also had tons of energy in the beginning and I am now going through a tired, sluggish period. Does this go away? Anyone else dealt with this?
  15. Better safe than sorry. Can you get to urgent care or an emergency room?
  16. Lemonade! It's my favorite Protein drink and goes down smooth!
  17. This sounded so good I ordered the pb2, but I couldn't help notice the second ingredient was sugar..... Aren't we suppose to stay away from sugar?
  18. I was very fearful pre op and now I am so grateful for this gift from God!
  19. I feel your pain. I'm down 30 pounds and everything has gotten smaller EXCEPT the things I wanted to go down the most! My F cup boobies! I'm praying they catch up with the rest of me eventually!
