Not Able To Eat

Hello everyone.. I am new to the forum. This is my 4th week.. had my sleeve on 10/22/12..Have lost about 23lbs..but have not lost anything in the last week. I am feeling fine.. however, I am not able to eat very much..not because I can not tolerate the food but because I feel so full right away.. I try to drink my water and try to get my protein in, but I just can't. Is this normal? Did anyone go through this? Does it get better? Any suggestions?

We were sleeved on the same day im only able to eat small amounts also so I'm only eating protein 4 times a day and trying to get my water in it gets better im down 39 lbs as of today

The protein shakes go down easier. On my 4th week I was still on full liquids (protein shakes, yogurt, etc.) I still have a protein shake now an then. My favorite is Max Protein chocolate, with cold coffee and sugar free chocolate Torani syrup. Sometimes i shake in a quarter tsp. of sugar free chocolate pudding mix or cocoa powder. I do everything from blackberry to lemon cream to chocolate almond roca. You can make them taste incredible if you work at it a little.

Greek yogurt is high in protein and goes down easy. My favorite is Chobani,

I wasn't actually eating solids until week 7 and even then I was gradually introducing things.

Yes, it does get better! I can't remember how much I could eat at 4 weeks, but it wasn't much. It took what seemed like forever, before I could hold the recommended protein and liquid. The good thing about the protein shakes, is it counts for both protein/liquid. There are still days when I would rather drink my breakfast and dinner than eat. .

I just started my sixth week and the only way I can get all my protein in is if I have protein shakes, because I can't eat enough to get it all in. I think this is pretty normal from what I've read on this website the last few months.
