  1. I'm getting sleeved by dr y on 8 Oct . I love him! How has your experience been so far?
  2. I'm having my surgery with Dr. Yadegar on 8 Oct 12.
  3. I have h- pylori also. I've been through two rounds of antibiotics and still can't get rid of it. The doctor says he will still do the surgery. I'm so glad to hear that you are doing so well!
  4. Oh, sorry, it's the infection you get when things from your gut get out into the rest of your body, where they don't belong. It's an infection that requires the newest, strongest antibiotics and it's very serious. I think also very contagious and running rampant in hospitals.
  5. I have already been through two rounds of antibiotics, to no avail. As long as I'm on PPIs I'm feel fine. But, also good to know. Thanks. I have heard some have gone through four rounds of antibiotics and still can't get rid of it.
  6. Good to know! Thank you!!!
  7. I've been through rounds of antibiotics and still have h-pylori! My vsg surgeon says he will still do the surgery, but this concerns me. Anyone else have experience with this?
  8. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your inspirational story. You just made my day. I have my surgery on 8 Oct 12.
  9. Thank you all so much! It means the world to me that you are willing to share your stories with me. I identify with just about everything. I know I need help. I've been tying to loose weight for years, only to gain it back and then some. High blood pressure, type II diabetes, hashimotos disease....... Keep me swimming upstream in this fight. I've had two breast reductions, a lump removed from under my arm and a few other minor surgeries. And I was a Marine, so you think I'd be unafraid of a little pain! All prayers welcome! I know I need to do this and make the best of it.
  10. I'm one month out from being sleeved and I have to admit reading everyones posts is scaring the you know what out of me! I'm truly grateful for the honesty! I just don't know if I'm cut out for all the pain and inability to eat and obtain energy again.
  11. I just got approved for 8 oct 12. Scared! But my doctor, Dr Yadegar in Lancaster is one of the best in the country. He has been doing these surgeries for 12 years.
  12. Ok, this scares me! I already have all these problems! I can't imagine them getting worse! Just read the part where it does get better! Whew!
  13. I hope I get to tell this same story some day!
  14. I am having surgery in October. I am praying that after I loose weight I will have more energy. I'm so tired all the time. I Hashimoto's but my levels are great, so I'm assuming the fatigue is caused by the excess weight. Please share you "energetic" stories with me!
