  1. Funny this topic should come up as I was getting my blood taken yesterday and ironically the person taking my blood had been sleeved as well and begin talking to me about losing hair and she said biotin was amazing so of course I ran out and bought it. Started taking it yesterday. It helps for nails too (my nails are a hot mess ) they break and crack bad. Best of luck.

  2. You look great. I love how you tracked your weight, that really helps me alot. I lost 40 pounds before my surgery and I am 3 months out now and have lost 39 pounds but I really thought it was moving along a bit to slow. I keep thinking that I will never get to my 120 weight goal but it looks like you were kind of moving along at the same rate so my hopes are high now. Thank You

  3. I know how you feel...and everything will go great. Keep up the great work, it will soon pay off. You will be sleeved in no time.Don't forget to walk the same day of surgery, if you walk every couple hours or more you will not have bad gas pain in your stomach. Best Wishes

  4. I went through the same thing...but I knew that my love for my kids and to be happy with them was far greater then my moment of fear. To make matters worse, it was the day of surgery and I was sitting there in the hospital waiting for the doctor to roll me in the surgery room and the nurse had the radio on...of course playing was Eric Clapton "tears in heaven" yeah...talk about a moment of tears..I started crying like a baby, the doctor walked in and asked if I was okay and still wanted do it? I just knew I wasnt really living life to it's full potential that way. I woke up a few hours later sleeved and no regrets. It will be okay...Just do this one thing for yourself so you are able to do everything for them, you wont regret it either. Reading and knowing your facts helps a lot.

  5. CONGRATS! Bet you're happy the hardest part is over? I was. Ice is great to (especially crused) and it helps stomach acid a lot...Good luck sweetie and stay away from hells kitchen for now lol the biggest loser is the best for motivation.

  6. I also have never heard of any insurance not doing the eval but my doctor never said anything to me either until I started the classes so I am sure they will inform you when you meet up with your doctor again..Good luck. It's a long journey before and after the surgery but it will fly by and you will be getting ready for your surgery in no time.

  7. It may change, you might begin to feel some kind of hunger in a couple months but it is NOTHING..I repeat NOTHING like it was before. It turns from a lion to kitten and it doesnt really feel like hunger, more like...a small empty feeling that can be forgotton if you dont keep a schedule..It is a nice feeling...ENJOY.
