MRSA - very scared
I had same incision that got infected bu Dr never tested it. Had me on antibiotics & told me to clean it with wound wash & not to put any ointment on it. I am now 5 1/2 months out & doing fine. Just keep taking your antibiotics & call Dr if you notice any changes.

Almost 3 yrs and I'm still amazed
Ntvtxn- so glad you shared your story with us & congrats on your 3 years of success. I am 5 1/2 mos out & grateful for my 54 pound weight loss. I do not compare myself to others. It is nice to hear that you have maintained you weight & are staying at goal, that is what I'm hoping for. I have read some posts that people have put their weight back on. Is that truly possible? The thought makes me ill. I realize we've been given a tool & not a magic wand but it still scares me. Anyway, best of luck to you

Stress eating
Ok, I too am a stress eater. I know this is going to sound hokey but try journaling (or exercising, not always possible) or simply snacking on something healthy. instead of eating those cookies, eat a piece of fruit. When you are upset about something, pick up a pen & paper & write down how you're feeling & why.
