  2. I was sleeved on 8/23/12 and have had no complications. I am so glad that I had this surgery because it has already made such a difference in how I look and feel.
  3. Dr Westmoreland is great and I have had a wonderful experience. I also was very pleased with my experience in the shelbyville hospital. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Just hang in there with the pre-op diet your surgery day will be here before you know it. I started at 240 and am currently 198.

  11. I am listening to my surgeon and following his plan. I do love to read everything on here though just to get ideas and see what everyone else is doing and what their results have been.
  12. So glad that your surgery went well. I too had the nausea the first day or two. I am almost a week out and I feel great. Just a little pain on the right side - which is where the biggest incision is - but its not too bad. I am still on liquids but it doesn't take too much to fill me up! Good luck on your recovery - you should feel better and better each day!
  13. I know how you feel - I get to start soft foods on Thursday and I can't wait!!
  14. You look great! Congratulations!
  15. Praying for you today! I felt all those same emotions - but I am glad that I got it done. I am only 5 days post op and I feel good...pain and nausea is pretty much gone. Can't get in much fluid yet but its getting easier each day.
  16. I just had my surgery on 8/23 and I've been dealing with the nausea too. It is getting better and I am slowing figuring out what my sleeve can tolerate. I haven't any trouble with any gas pain though - I'm thankful for that. Good luck on the rest of your recovery!
  17. Hey everyone - i had surgery Thursday morning and so far so good. Not too much pain. I have had some nausea but that is getting better. I can't eat very much - maybe about a teaspoon or two at a time. I've been sleeping a lot...and just resting if I'm not asleep. My doc is Dr. Westmoreland - he is wonderful!
