  1. Don't worry... You'd know if it was a leak and that's the real serious complication. Maybe they may have to stretch it, you will do fine! You're tough! You got through the surgery!
  2. Please research that medicine and see if potential side effects are worth it... It may or may not help. It's a narly drug!
  3. Once I started eating solid foods I stalled for two full weeks, but measured my stomach and it was down 4 inches! I tried on jeans from before surgery and they fell off! I'd only lost 14lbs but was losing inches... Try on some old clothes... It may pick up your spirits! Chin up! Ya here?
  4. Me too! I am about the same out and having issues with nausea and getting in Water and Protein... Never have
  5. Phenergan... Smart phone struck again
  6. I am just over 6 weeks out and have been battling nausea. It's not related to surgery, it's adding back a medicine I'd stopped after surgery. Last night I had a sick headache and shortly after dinner the nausea increased and in took a phenergan, but it was too late... I ended up throwing up seconds later. Here's what sort of freaked me out. I'd just eaten so I had stuff to throw up and everything got stuck in my throat and I had to cough it up. It's as if there's not enough stomach/muscles to force the stuff up... Anyone else? I am hoping I never vomit again unless it's long after I've eaten and have some water in my stomach or something!
  7. Eek, I have 35 to go, but I gave myself permission to back it to the 21st if I couldn't get there... 40lbs was pretty lofty
  8. Are you cleared to eat raw veggies? I'm not cleared until month 3... No raw veggies, unpeeled fruit, nuts, seeds or popcorn... Also still no solid protein that doesn't cut easily with a fork. Basically sticking to chicken and fish and occasionally ground meats
  9. Try on something that used to be too tight! At 2 weeks I stopped losing and didn't lose for two weeks! I tried on a pair of jeans that never fit and they did! I measured the biggest part of my stomach and it was 4 inches smaller! You're losing even if not pounds! Keep your chin up!
  10. There's no way I could eat a six inch sub with the bread! We went to Hardee's today and my friend got chicken tenders and I ate one and was completely full. I am such a cheap date! LOL
  11. If you're talking about pre op I did cheat once, but it was only a handful of air popped popcorn... I was super strict the last few days to make sure my stomach was nice and empty! I was allowed raw veggies and a small low carb meal with my shakes until a few days before surgery

  13. I was cleared at 10 days to eat anything I could cut with a fork. I had a meatloaf slider minus the bread at 10 days out. I chewed well and meatloaf was easily cut with a fork! I've eaten bread but in tiny doses... Like a bite or two
  14. I went to taco bell with some friends and got a side of chicken and a side of quac and mixed them together... Was delish!
