Arkansas Roll Call...
I can't imagine... My preop was two shakes and one small low carb meal a day for one week. Also, raw veggies were free when I was too hungry

Why am I a Slowwwwwwwww loser?

Wow! I hope I will be able to eat like that when I am further out. Because I am Ok losing slow! I'm averaging about 4 lbs a week and that's fine to me! Today I had a 1/4 cup of orzo kale salad 1/4 peanut butter sandwich. I found a store that let's you make your own peanut butter in store!!! I used the unsalted peanuts! About a cup of watermelon cubes... I need to choke down a protein shake before bed lol- insite needed
I have had a month of nausea, but knew it was getting back on my victoza. It is a morning sickness or car sick feeling. As that was subsiding I started a little different sort of nausea with intermittent vomiting. It started around week six and was not eating related, mostly. Only once did I throw up after eating. My doc called me in some zofran tablets (non sublingual). A day or two before that I didn't eat the entire day because of the extreme queasiness. I finally nibbled on something and it got better. I ended up pigging out as much as we can! I felt better than ever! Soooo, here's what I figured out... The queasiness now us made better by eating! I am too queasy in the morning to even think about eating. I wake an hour or so earlier to take a zofran and lay back down and eat when I get back up and feel better all day. I said all that to say this... Think it could just be hunger that's causing the nausea? I've seen tons of posts about people getting nausea and/or vomiting about this far out. I hope it's temporary! I don't wanna have to take zofran just to eat! I have lost myself with my ramble, hope someone understand this! Just really frustrated- Weight in stomach

Apples, like me, are typical diabetic bodies! I've only lost 30 so fat, but I've noticed that rock hard tire around my upper belly is softer and more pliable! My bird legs are a lot birdier and have sagging skin in my upper inner thighs and a little over my knees! Wish I'd done this 20 years ago!- Please be honest...
I do, when I want one... About 3 a week and an occasional glass if iced tea- NSAIDS

Me too! Even bad enough I throw up! Started right after week 6! And only once after I ate! Yesterday i didn't eat at all and about 11 pm I was so sick... I ended up T McDonald's and got a small hamburger. And some tea. I felt like a new person! I ate again an hour later and way completely normal until I woke up this morning and started the nausea all over again! So weird!- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved

Inwas walking a few hours after surgery... To me, this surgery was a piece of cake compared to others I've had.. Only thing the nausea the first day was tough- Cleaning Incisions
I didn't... Mine were glued a d all you were supposed to do was shower and let the water run down... No rubbing, no nothing! For sure no ointments- Arkansas Roll Call...

You're so right! Clap Clap Clap!- Anybody regretted it, even with no complications?
I am hungry more often than I was presurgery, but a small snack of something will stop the feeling. Some on here will says it's impossible to be hungry after surgery, that's simply not true. Some will say you're not hungry, it's just acid, that's simply not true either. Ghrelin isn't the only thing that makes you hungry! And empty stomach will! Also, the part of the stomach they remove isn't the only part of the body that produces ghrelin. Also, if you drink too soon after eating you will wash the food out of your sleeve and be hungry again sooner than if you set a timer and do not drink! Hope that helps a little- Arkansas Roll Call...
It was a piece of cake! The first 20 or so hours are fairly rough, but only the nausea... Pain wise it was pretty easy. I came home the next day and after a day I was pretty much normal! Other than eating, if course. I know at 50 I won't lose like a 25 year old. My doc says women at my age lose, but it doesn't fall off! I had a lower bmi which he says is another strike against me... But the point is... I am losing!!!!!!!- Arkansas Roll Call...
I've done well. I am 7 weeks today. I've not lost a ton. 28lbs... I am down to 213 and my goal per my surgeon is 150lbs. I have no desire to go one a strick low carb diet so most days in eat right, but will still eat what I want.. Just a whole lot less!!! I am out of my clothes! I can still wear my shirts, but all my old jeans fall off! I enjoy that! I am super apple shaped and I've actually lost 4 1/2 inches around the middle! My bird legs are a lot birdier too! LOL - Why am I a Slowwwwwwwww loser?
