  1. Happy thanksgiving everyone! God bless each of you as we begin this new phase of our lives.
  2. Started mushie food yesterday...and it makes a big difference! Hang in there.
  3. Great job! You're really doing great. Just starting my weight loss. Hope to follow in your footprints!
  4. Will be praying for all the Nov. 20 sleevers. Good luck to all.....let us know how it Goes. We'll be looking forward to seeing you on the loser's bench!
  5. Amytug, you just hang in there. I think most obese people are emotional eaters, if they are truthful with themselves....stress, depression, joy, bored, you name it. I was sleeved 11/6 and I have to tell you, you will be so focused on getting your liquids and Protein in, you will be full! Yes, I get head hunger, but seriously, your new tummy is just not large enough to sabotage your weightloss journey. I promise you you'll only overdo it once...LOL Keep moving forward. My husband was not for it for a long time, but as I educated him, he got on board and is my biggest supporter. You will do just great, and once the deed is done, your mother will get behind you. Hugs.
  6. Hi, I'm 5'2" and 53 years old. My weight before pre-op diet was 251 lbs. sleeved on 11/6. Went to first post-op appt. today and weighed 277.8. Whoo-Hoo!
  7. Pre-op 251 lbs. Day of surgery 11/6 -- 242 lbs. Today 11/19 -- 227.8 lbs. Height 5'2" -- age 53 I'm very excited and love my new sleeve! Today I had a mushie meal and it was heaven. My husband and I went to mex rest. And I had two tablespoons of refried Beans. Delish! Congrats to all on their progress.
  8. My NUT says refried beans, bean soup, etc. are great. Lots of protein. She doesn't want us to have simple carbs. Beans are complex
  9. You'll do great! Keep us posted and ill see you on the losers bench!
  10. Are these bars good ones for us? The Peanut Butter crisp bar has: 310 calories, 10fat grams, 33carb grams, 2grams Fiber, 3grams sugar, and 30grams Protein. Ingredients include, milk protein isolate, whey protein isolate, hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, soy protein isolate, etc. Anyone know if this is a decent bar?
  11. Wow! You are awesome. You have lost 71 lbs. congrats. You are doing so great. I was sleeved on Nov. 6th, but don't have my first follow- up until Monday, the 19th so I don't know what I currently weigh. I'll post it on Monday. You are an inspiration!
