I too just started my period but it's not my first time. I've always had irregular periods but this is the first time in a long time that I started it without the help of BC! Yay me, even though I don't want to have my period. Anyway congrats to you starting yours.
  5. That just sucks that you feel disgusted about my opinion. I have no shame or feel guilty in what I said. It pretty much is the truth! But it's not my fault others aren't bashing on other people who are cheating on their diet or drinking. It just so happens I haven't gone across those forums. I think it just sucks that you have to defend yourself this much when its simply just my opinion, shouldn't bother you so much.
  6. This isn't a stop smoking forum, your right. But I'm not answering your question. Also everyone got this tool to be healthy and yea you didn't sign up to quit smoking, but why sign up to get healthy with your weight issues when your simply just aren't healthy from smoking? Anyway, point is you can do as you please and hat your body what's, but this is just my input on smoking after surgery.
  7. Honestly I think those of you who haven't quit should. There is a reason why you wanted to have the sleeve, and that was to get healthy and live longer. To continue smoking is no different from being that fat obese person you were before. You are still killing yourself, so why go through the surgery if you weren't going to change your habits? I use to smoke, and smoked for 10 years, I definitely didn't want to die soon in my life cause of obesity. So I got the surgery and vowed to stop smoking for my own sake! So I don't waste my time. Quitting smoking I must say had been a easy process for me. There are other things you can substitute smoking for. When you have the urge to smoke, put on some running shoes and go work out. It's pretty sad to see people use so many excuse to why they have quit. Honestly to the person asking the question, if you have to question yourself about smoking again, maybe you should of second question the surgery as well. -Just saying!
  8. I would like to know too! I'm 4 weeks out to and I really want some Kim Chi..
  9. Yea I've lost 15pounds better then nothing right.. Anyway yeah I have been very weak too because I am also on just clear liquids. So that's broth and Jello for me! No proton shake yet to give my strength! Boo but I'm on clear liquid until my post op so that will be the 21st! Ugh. What's your starting weight? Where you from?
  10. Thank you I didn't know there was a clear protein drink. Where can I find this drink? So how long have you had your sleeve?
  11. Hey everyone! My name is Christy and I am 24 yrs old. I live in the Pacific Northwest, I just had my sleeve this past Tuesday August 7, 2012. At the moment my doctor still has me on clear liquid so that means broth & jello lol. Because I am not on protein yet I have been feeling weak but that's ok, has anyone experience feeling weak right after surgery? Anyway my Facebook page is Christhee VSG, please feel free to add me! I am always up to meeting new friends.
